Luo Ziling had finished washing up and taken a shower when he came downstairs dressed, Ling Ruonan had already prepared breakfast.
"Ling'er, how's your injury?" Ling Ruonan asked with concern, "Did you sleep well last night?"
"Mom, the medicine Grandpa and I concocted works really well; the swelling has completely subsided and it doesn't hurt anymore," Luo Ziling said as he sat down at the dining table, ready for breakfast.
He was already hungry, and his stomach couldn't help but growl at the sight of the delicious food Ling Ruonan had prepared.
But Ling Ruonan was not reassured and had Luo Ziling take off his clothes so she could personally check his back. Once she was certain the swelling had truly subsided, she felt at ease.
After breakfast, Ling Ruonan changed her clothes, dressing herself very gracefully and intelligently, before personally supervising Luo Ziling as he changed.
