(Chapter Six)
A restrained dinner came to an end. After eating, the four of them left the small canteen and went to a nearby quiet spot.
Yang Qingyin called Yang Qingye aside for a private conversation.
Luo Ziling could faintly hear the sound of their quarrel drifting over, the higher pitch undoubtedly belonged to Yang Qingyin's voice, while Yang Qingye, clearly weaker, didn't dare contend with the furious Yang Qingyin.
After a short while, the siblings returned. When they came back, Yang Qingye was hanging his head low, looking very much like a subdued man.
Yang Qingyin pulled Luo Ziling aside, leaving Yang Qingye to discuss matters with Jiang Xiaojin by themselves.
"What's going on?" Luo Ziling, who hadn't expected to stumble upon such turmoil at Qinghua Garden, asked Yang Qingyin in a somewhat bemused manner: "What were you two talking about just now?"
