(Chapter Nine)
After having lunch, Luo Ziling received a phone call. Unexpectedly, the caller was Shanque, whom he hadn't seen since.
"Luo Ziling, at twelve-thirty noon, I'll be waiting for you at the gate of your school. The chief sent me to pick you up."
Receiving the call from Shanque, Luo Ziling hesitated.
He had classes in the afternoon, and it seemed like the first one was a Chinese class. It would be hard to justify taking leave.
But with Shanque coming to pick him up directly, it would also be quite awkward to refuse.
As he was hesitating, he heard Yang Qingyin, who overheard Shanque's voice on the phone, pull at his clothes and whisper, "Don't go to class this afternoon, go to Li Haiyang's place."
Yang Qingyin's words made Luo Ziling make up his mind instantly.
"Alright then," he immediately agreed to Shanque, "I'll be at the school gate waiting for you at twelve-thirty."
