After scouring the raw gem factory clean, Long Xiaoshan walked out and made his way into the mining cave.
Since Sangdu's mine had once produced jade, it was possible there was more to be found, so he wanted to go in and have a look.
He didn't use any tools and simply jumped into the mine, stepping on the walls and delving into its winding and meandering tunnels, the jade mine clearly having been excavated haphazardly, riddled with side passages.
Long Xiaoshan zigzagged through the mine for quite some time.
He emerged somewhat disappointed.
The vein was extremely deep, and the Heavenly Eye's ability was not limitless, especially within the interior of such a mine, only able to penetrate a few meters into the rock, beyond which he could not detect anything.
He did not find any more jade.
Heavenly materials and earthly treasures were, after all, things you could encounter but not seek; Long Xiaoshan returned to the surface.
