"Ahem," The long lost Ji Han coughed lightly as he stood up, gaining the attention of everyone inside the main room*. Raising his glass he began to speak. "Zhen Qi, and I have recently become engaged, so to celebrate and give me a few points, I'll have to trouble everyone to join us for a toast."
With a face full of smiles he invited everyone over to his area before elegantly reaching to pull his fiancée from her seat, earning a few cheers from the audience.
Seeing the commotion Tang Fei took the opportunity to drag Leng Youyuan over to the table where Ji Han was speaking. "What do you think about marriage Mr.Leng?" Jokingly she asked.
"Don't really care." Stoically he responded.
Hearing this Tang Fei pouted. "How can you not care about such an intimate act of bonding for a lifetime, like two mandarin ducks* that can never be apart." Despite never having fallen in love Tang Fei was a hardcore romantic that had read countless touching novels of romance, and to her marriage was a serious act not something that deserved an "I don't care"!
Leng Youyuan simply responded with a skeptical glance. Marriage could in many ways go wrong or end, besides he had never really bothered with it since even dating was a foreign language to him.
Slightly dampened by his response Tang Fei simply turned her focus back to Ji Han who was stilll talking. 'Is he talking about his life story or something?'
Finally having finished his rather long speech Ji Han raised his glass along with Zhen Qi to drink. Everyone else quickly followed, resulting in a chorus of cheers and applause afterwards.
After the applause Tang Fei was about ready to leave the area and get back to the food, but Hua Wuxin once again approached her, this time holding two glasses. With a smile she held one of them out to Tang Fei.
"Ms.Tang, earlier I was out if turn I hope we can put our past grievances behind us." Sincerely she spoke, it would've convinced almost anyone who didn't know her real character.
Taking the glass Tang Fei smiled in return tipping the glass to drink. But in reality the glass never reached her lips only slightly spilling onto her dress. She wasn't so dumb as to randomly drink everything she was handed, but Hua Wuxin gave her an opportunity to good to pass up.
"Oh dear I've spilled some of it'll myself, how clumsy I should go upstairs to clean it. I'll see you all later." Quickly Tang Fei spoke, seeming to be panicked over the light stain the champagne had left on her dress. As she passed Leng Youyuan she lightly winked before mouthing something.
Not noticing her movements Hua Wuxin smirked. How dumb that woman was. While it wasn't all according to plan, that drug would surely take affect soon and after that... ha she couldn't wait to see Tang Fei get out of this mess.
