"Sabotage and attack." The god replied quickly.
"The enemy has nearly an army of mages for itself. Issue is, from what i have seen with them. They're more of a rowdy crowd, little organization. Despite this though, they have been successful in battles, from water to flame to ice." The god explained.
"The army is split off at the moment, dividing their mages to join different armies to support, so i assume it will be easier for you. These mages are scattered around different armies that around my domain. Simply follow where my armies go to find the battle." The god continued.
"Indeed it shall, do i need to kill all of them or merely a few?"
"If you can, all of them." Venator's eyes slightly widened.
"An army's worth of mages? If so, forgive me but a larger reward would suffice than some armor." Venator spoke to the god, turning around.
"Very well, i was told of your difficulty in trekking through different environments, especially in finding a cathedral or temple to enter our domain."
A red portal spawned next to the god, emerging from it, a large horse with armor on it. Covered in gold and metal chainmail with a leather outer layer. It's skin was black and it's eyes flared red." Venator was taken aback by the beast.
"Worry not by it's appearance, this here is a warhorse that has finally rested from it's life of battle. Now fighting on this realm with it's fellow brothers and sisters of war. A calm temperament, the armor is strong enough to block arrows and even spearheads to axe strikes." The god explained, Venator's shock soon changed to a face of fascination as he stared at the large warhorse.
"I rode horses to war before, but this one isn't like any i've seen." He thought to himself in amazement at the sight of the horse.
"Along with that is unprecedented stamina, any distance is short to this beautiful warhorse." The god patted the horse's mane.
"Do we have a deal now?" The god asked. Venator snapped out of staring at the horse, nodding his head quickly.
"Very well." The portal returned, the horse walking back inside it before it disappeared.
An image formed once more next to Venator, on it were mages attacking an army of armored soldiers, the army practically melting away as the mages pushed through them. Ending the battle in minutes while fire burned the ground and ice shards were strewn about.
"They train but they're hardly professionals by my standards, simply acting on their own volition in combat. Once the formation is gone, they'll swarm the enemy and push through until the battle is over with little to no regard for their own lives. Such a unit has costed thousands of soldiers and has destroyed tens of cities, expanding their empire while we can only try fighting back," The god stopped, thinking for a second. "I want to send a message to them, so burn down a village of theirs." Venator was taken aback by the request.
"I deeply apologize, but i can't carry that request out." He responded.
"Fine fine, i'll just see if my own people will do it."
The god stared at Venator's empty sheathe.
"A sheathe without a blade? Odd." It commented.
"It broke off during a fight before."
"Say, i know another god from a smithing world, perhaps he could create a new blade for it."
"Thank you for the information."
The god extended out it's hand.
"Do we have a deal?" In a single gesture, Venator has taken another task. This time one that shall take longer than normal.
"A battle is occuring as we speak." The god formed a final image, this time of a battle of soldiers against each other while mages fought in small groups in the front.
"Take them out as fast as possible. And if you can, don't kill any of my own soldiers."
Venator took out his book, a portal began forming next to him, with a single nod he left the world.
His boots stepped on the ground with the heat of the sun immediately striking him. In the distance, an army clashed back and forth, carrying their flags in different positions while the battle went on.
Venator stared at the ensuing conflict, looking at the opposing flag while he prepared fire and ice in both hands.
He marched onward on the field towards the battle, roars of death and rage became louder and louder.
Fire spewed out of Venator's hand as it struck the soldiers while they clashed, through the armor they burst into flames while the other army slowly stopped in fighting.
Venator rapidly ran around as the soldiers began focusing on hitting him, sword strikes to opposing mages launching their own attacks at Venator went on while their numbers dwindled.
With his blade, he charged at the mages, quickly dispersing at the sight of their faltering army. One by one they fell as they attempted to run in fear at the sudden assault.
Soon, the battle was over in seconds, burned bodies encased in armor lay dead on the floor with their mages.
Venator stared at Bellunamien's army looked in disbelief and shock. Unable to move while they continued looking at Venator, robes splattered with blood while he cleaned his sword and the elements in his hands disappeared.
"I gotta get out of here now." As quickly as he entered, Venator ran away from the battle while soldiers still looked. Frozen stuck in their places before slowly snapping to their senses as they looked at the bodies in front of them.
Venator quickly got away from the army until they were no longer in sight.
His rest was short-lived, in the distance, smoke rose up to the sky. Venator quickly began running to the source. The buildings slowly grew in size as he got nearer.
He arrived, witnessing the sight of destroyed homes. As he watched from the distance, soldiers marched through the destroyed village, one bore a flag. Bellunamien's flag.
