Modern Day Britain, London, Diagon Alley, 1991
Casually, Edward strolled through the street, past frantic stampedes of people, past shop windows with strange and unique gadgets.
Inside, Edward was bubbling. Being a huge fan of the series, Edward had always wanted to visit Diagon Alley and Hogwarts but had restrained himself until now.
Now that the foundations had been set, he could have fun!
Currently, the trio were sat on a table in the corner of The Leaky Cauldron.
"Son, we have gathered all of the required books for your time at Hogwarts," Richard spoke in a robotic tone.
"You're not a very convincing parent," Edward sighed, shaking his head.
"Apologies my...baby boy...?"
Richard said this completely seriously as he started agressively squeezing his cheeks, which made Edward stare at him with a clearly uncomfortable expression.
"Forget it."
Richard started to poke his nose.
"Boop."
No emotion.
"Boop," another one.
"I said forget it!" Edward demanded as he slapped his hand away.
Richard turned to Anna.
"Parenting is hard."
Anna nodded sympathetically, mechanically patting his back.
Edward watched this scene with a contorted expression.
It was truly odd.
"Let's get back to business."
Edward looked left and right before leaning towards the two.
"To begin with, I'm going to go to Hogwarts normally, but after my first year, I'll create our group and start the takeover. In the meantime, I'll still be attending Hogwarts though. There's someone I'll need to deal with there."
"Understood," they both replied.
"As you know, I can travel to different universes and through time. So, after we take over this universe, we'll go and conquer others. For this, I don't plan on bringing the other 6, just you two."
"So, I ask, will you accompany me on this journey?"
There was no hesitation: the two agreed straight away.
"Great!"
"Waiter! Can we get the bill?"

Modern Day Britain, London, King's Cross Station, 1991
At this point in time, Edward was entering the striking red machine. For the first time in a while, his heart was beating quickly.
He found the carriage he was looking for and dumped his briefcase beneath the seat; he had kept it because...well let's just say there were some things in there that were difficult to explain.
Minutes later, a small, skinny boy wearing glasses opened the carriage door, a ginger boy at his side.
"Do you mind if we sit here? There's nowhere else free," the ginger boy asked, the other hanging behind him shyly.
"Not at all."
Obviously, Edward had caused this situation.
All he needed to do was slightly delay Potter getting on to the train, so he couldn't get a carriage for himself, forcing him to go to Edward's.
The two boys sat down opposite eachother, slightly away from Edward.
The ginger one broke the silence.
"You never did tell me your name."
Those two had obviously already been introduced.
"Oh, it's Harry, Harry Potter."
Ron's eyes sparkled.
With his eyes widened, Ron asked about the scar and everything, just like the books and movies, before he turned to Edward.
"Sorry. I'm Ron by the way. Ron Weasley."
He extended a hand which Edward shook.
"Edward. Edward Lyore."
Once again, Ron looked shocked.
"You're a Lyore? Wicked! I mean, your ancestors are written in our school books. My brother Percy almost worships Merlin. Me and my twin brothers prefer Saint Edward though."
Ron looked at Edward with stars in his eyes, whilst Harry looked confused.
"Sorry, I don't know much about the magical world, who are your family?" Harry asked.
Ron answered for him.
"Only the strongest wizards of all time. Saint Edward was the strongest wizard of all time, next is his son Michael, then his stepson Merlin, and then Albus Dumbledore."
Harry looked at Edward in a new light.
"Please don't treat me any differently, it was my ancestors who were great, not me," Edward lied through his teeth, but couldn't hide his cheeky smirk.
Ron and Harry were about to ask more questions when the carriage door opened.
"Anything off the trolley?"
This time, Edward paid for all of the sweets, you don't think he didn't prepare any money 1000 years ago?
The boys continued chatting and munching on the snacks until Harry spoke up.
"What's this?"
He held up a chocolate frog.
Each of them had one as Edward was curious to what cards there was now that he had screwed with history a little.
Harry got Dumbledore as usual while Edward, funnily enough, got himself.
Ron opened his and jumped up once he saw the card.
"I got the Devil Duke!" he cheered.
"Who's that?" Harry cocked his head.
Ron looked at Edward before sitting down, embarrassed.
"Oh...well he was called Vincent Lyore..."
Ron looked at Edward, who just nodded for him to continue.
"And he was known for being a famous 13th century dark wizard. In fact, he was apparently the second user of the legendary Elder Wand, the most powerful wand in the world! On top of that, he created tonnes of dark spells including the Unforgivable Curses and bred his own Basilisk!"
"What's are-"
Their conversation was interrupted by the door opening.
It was a bright-eyed girl with bushy brown hair - Hermione Granger.
The scene played out the same way as the movies until she came to Edward.
"And you are?"
"Edward Lyore."
"Wow, another one. I've read about your family in my books, you know? Are you related to that other Lyore?"
Edward's interest was piqued at this, obviously there remained some of his descendants, even now.
Pausing time, Edward spoke to the System.
"What happened to the Lyores?"
[Over time, there were branch families and the witch trials thinned the dynasty's numbers. Currently, there is 3 individual families with the surname Lyore and only one is magical. The magical family is the Duke of Somerset's and his brother and 2 children. There are also 2 cadet branches with 1 family each - the Forde and Raine family.]
[It should be noted that branch families do not get access to the bloodline.]
"About as much as I hoped for. Thanks for keeping them safe System."
[System is here to help.]
"I guess I should meet my descendant. That sounds kinda weird to say."
Edward scanned the status of everyone on the train until he found who he was looking for.
Resuming time, Edward got up and told the 2 where he was going.
"Well good luck with meeting your long lost relative," he supported through mouthfuls of food.
Harry just put his thumbs up.
