ONE MONTH LATER
"Therius, I need to leave and return to the Mage Academy, okay?" Emma kissed her husband's cheek and she expected him to make an outright refusal. "It's been over one month. I can't take longer leave because people will get suspicious."
She looked at Therius with a concerned face. Would he say no?
However, contrary to her expectations, Therius only nodded and pulled her into a deep kiss and then looked at her dotingly with a smile. "Of course, honey. Thank you for staying with me for the whole month and taking care of me. I love you so much. I'll wait for you to return again."
"Therius… that'll be a bit, the semester is barely starting," Emma sheepishly smiled and was relieved that as her husband recovered from his injuries, his mood really improved.
