Ye Wudao could only use "looking," "smelling," and "feeling the pulse" to diagnose the other party's condition.
The challenge was actually somewhat unfair, and could even be said to be making things difficult for Ye Wudao, but it exactly tested a person's medical skills. The rule set by Zhou Fusheng was that as long as Ye Wudao could diagnose correctly two out of the ten people, he would be considered to have passed.
Even so, the rule was extremely harsh; even those old Chinese doctors with many years of rich experience might not be able to do it.
