Wu Tong had some degree of fame, while Ye Wudao was an unfamiliar face, and Tai Yuchen seemed to regard Ye Wudao as even less significant. Seeing Ye Wudao stepping up for Wu Tong, he launched a right kick, lifting his knee to chest height, his body twisting slightly to the left. He pivoted on the ball of his support foot, the heel turning inward, then he rapidly thrust his right foot forward at Ye Wudao, as fast as a shadow.
This kick was also a lethal move in Muay Thai; many had fallen to it in the ring. Yet no matter how fast he was, he couldn't outspeed Ye Wudao's reflexes.
Ye Wudao snorted coldly and, without bothering with any flashy techniques, he simply swept his leg towards him and scoffed, "Humph! A shrimp dares to beam like the sun, a mere corner-dweller bullying me, confident there's no one in Hua Country."
