I walked to the medic tent with a slight limp in my step. I showed no pain on my face even as I limped. I walked into the tent and looked around seeing my medics at work. When one noticed me and walked over they spoke.
"Hello what assistance might you need?" I spoke, "I just need some clean gaz and bandages along with some antibacterial soap." The medic blinked, "What do you need those for?" I spoke, "I need to clean and change the bandages covering my gunshot injury. He probably needs the same too." I pointed at Airc.
The medic paused before nodding and left. I found a seat and sat down waiting. I then saw the medic come back over with a military doctor. The doctor walked up to me and seemed to look me over before speaking.
"I am Doctor Trever. The medic just told me you need spies to clean a gunshot wound?" I nodded, "Yes." Trever spoke, "you don't look injured also there is no record of you coming in with gunshot wounds. There has actually been no report for several days." I huffed, "I didn't make a report because I treated it myself and as for that idiot," I once again pointed at Airc, "He is a prisoner of war captured last night."
Trever looks at me and then Airc, "I won't believe such blatant lies. Get out of this tent. I will be reporting you to the captain." Before I could reply Airc moved grabbing the doctor by the throat with his non-injured arm, "What the hell do you know. I won't allow anyone to talk to her that way."
I jumped up and grabbed his wrist, twisting it, making him release the doctor. I pulled my knife out from its sheath from where it was on my hip. I pressed the knife to Airc's throat drawing a drop of blood. I looked at Airc as he gave me his full undivided attention.
"Don't you remember what i said about trying to kill anyone?" Airc spoke watching me, "I do and I wasn't going to kill him. I was going to choke him out." I glared, "You cannot do that. You try to harm anyone I will castrate you." Airc spoke in a high pitch, "yes, ma'am. It won't happen again. I won't touch anyone else."
I nodded, "good." I then released him. He spoke, "although I won't let anyone insult you. You are after all going to be my future wife." I scowled pointing my knife at him, "That is never going to happen you maniac."
I huffed sheathing my knife. I looked to doctor Trevor who was staring at us in shock. I shook my head and sat down. I looked at doctor Trevor as he looked between us with fear in his eyes. I sighed softly before speaking.
"Could we get those supplies now?"
Trevor nodded and hurriedly left. I sighed before pulling my pant leg up to look at my injury. I took the bandages and gauze off that was covering the injury and found my wound was bleeding some. I frowned and gently dabbed at the blood with the bandage I had taken off taking care to use clean spots. I then looked up as Airc spoke.
"I'm sorry, I caused you to be hurt again. You should punish me. It's my fault." I glared at him, "I will not. You seem to be a masicist." Airc blinks, "I certainly am not. I hate pain. I can only stand the pain in my shoulder because they gave me something for the pain. I wonder what it was they gave me too?"
I looked at him annoyed, "You.. you are an idiot and high on whatever drug they gave you." Airc looks at me, "I'm not high."
I shook my head before looking as doctor Trever returned with the supplies and set it next to me. I then caught his gaze on my injured leg. I grabbed the supplies and started to tend to my injury. I cleaned around the stitches carefully before putting gauze over and wrapped it with clean bandages. I pulled my pant leg back down and looked to Trevor who spoke.
"You really did tell the truth. I'm sorry. You clearly know what you are doing as well so.. I apologize for my rude comments before and thank you for saving me earlier." I nodded before Trever asked.
"If he really is a prisoner of war why is he not locked up or even without cuffs?" I spoke, "Can't keep him locked up. He just escapes and comes to me. Captain put me in charge of him as He threatened to kill if he wasn't allowed to stay by me. And as you can tell from what he said earlier he is not sane but he is also very dangerous."
Trevor nodded softly looking at Airc before nodding to me and walking off. I looked at Airc and sighed grabbing the other supplies. I looked at Airc coldly before speaking.
"Take your shirt off. I'm going to change the bandages on your shoulder." Airc smiled, "Ok."
He took his shirt off and sat down next to me. I only raised an eyebrow before taking the bloodied bandage off of his wound and just like I did with my own injury I cleaned around the injury before wrapping it. I finished and nodded before speaking.
"I'm done. Put your shirt back on and lets go." Airc nodded, "Yes ma'am."
I stood and limped out of the tent, my limp much more noticeable than before when I first walked into the tent. I headed for my own tent to rest. Although I knew I had to deal with Airc I just didn't know what to do with him. I walked thinking of what to do with him when I got the best idea.
I made it to the tent and walked in with Airc following me in. I looked around before walking over to Togami Ben as he looked at me then Airc following me. I stopped in front of him and spoke.
"I've been put in charge of this screwball. Mind watching him for a bit while I get some rest?" Togami looked at me, "what? Oh hell no. I am not responsible for him." I looked at him, "I need some rest. I reopened my wound some thanks to this idiot." Togami looks at me.
I looked at Airc, "You must behave yourself and listen to Togami. He is my brother so behave." Airc looked at Togami and smiled, "Sure I'll behave and listen to brother Togami." I looked at Airc coldly before looking back at her brother, "he says he'll listen so are we good?" Togami paused before sighing, "Fine."
I nodded and limped over to my bed and lied down on it. I closed my eyes and listened to the others relaxing my body to rest. I could hear Airc start to speak to Togami asking him all sorts of questions about me. I sighed and rubbed by temples trying to ignore the two who were talking.
I could tell my brother was trying to avoid answering Airc questions with the minimum needed to be answered. I could tell Togami was getting over-welded but did nothing to help him as I worked to relax and ignore the two. I had left my brother in charge of Airc for two reasons. One being I knew Airc would behave better with him knowing Togami was my brother and secondly, because I knew my brother could handle him better than most. I could relax for a while with my brother in charge of Airc.
