Tuesday
Takeshi wakes up to a ray of sunlight hitting his eyes. He sits up and stretches before getting dressed and going downstairs to get breakfast.
"Ready for school?" Maiman sat at the table in the kitchen in her human form as she ate a bowl of cereal.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that," Takeshi lets out an irritated groan.
"Could I just stay home? Pretend to be sick?" He whines.
"No. We have to go. We have an assignment and it is our duty," Maiman shakes her head "no".
"Ugh. Fine," Takeshi sits at the table across from her after getting some cereal as well.
The two approach the school where students stare at him and Maiman who was trotting behind him in wolf form. Takeshi tries his best to ignore them as they go to class. As they step into the classroom, everyone gets quiet and stares at him.
"Grab a packet and sit down, we're on page three," Mr.Norio nods at Takeshi who nods back and grabs a packet before sitting down. As he sits down, Takeshi can feel Ren's eyes piercing through him as she sits a few desks away.
"Hey Takeshi," Eclipse walks up to him as he goes to sit at a lunch table a little while later.
"Hey," Takeshi sighs.
"How're things going?" She gives him a small smile as they sit down at a table together.
"They're ok, well, no. It's bad," he lets out a long sigh as he runs a hand through his hair.
"Everyone's talking about last week," she sighs.
"I figured. I figured they would. Things suck. I can feel Ren's eyes on me all of the time. The amount of hate coming from her is suffocating. And, it hurts. I knew I shouldn't have gotten involved with her or close to her at all, I just knew I shouldn't have. I just can't seem to do anything right," Takeshi whimpers.
"Oh sweetie. Well, I'm here, ok?" Eclipse leans over and carefully kisses him on his cheek.
"Thanks, but, you don't have to pretend. I know it's your assignment to be my girlfriend so you don't have to act like you like me at all," Takeshi sighs.
"But, I do like you. You're actually pretty attractive Takeshi and you're really sweet," Eclipse smiles.
"Well, thanks," a small smile crosses his face.
