"Woooh, there's only one picture left. Sucks for you."
This guy is adding fuel to the fire! I want to hit him! It seems the worst case scenario happened. I'm the last one to come here and pick a stadium.
I raised my head again and looked at the last picture available. It's a stadium located at Saitama, called The Check Stadium.
It can fit at least 1000 people inside. So It's that small, huh? Having a huge stadium will be a very huge advantage to you. For example, your stadium is much bigger, and your opponent is just a small stadium.
The opponent's stadium is full while your stadium is just half. So who do you think will win? If you thought that It's the smaller one, then your obviously wrong.
Because the maximum capacity of the smaller stadium only amounts to 100, while the maximum capacity of the bigger stadium amounts to 250.
Even though the stadium is full, It's just 100 people. So the bigger one's half is... 125 people. So the bigger one's stadium won by only 25 people.
It's part of this system, that's why the bigger stadium, the better. I just released a heavy sigh in front of this dilemma. At least, It's still 1000 people. The worst case would be 250 people or lower, there's no way we can win with that.
I took the Check Stadium's picture and was about to give it to the guy guarding the counter when this guy, Kaneshiro Ryota, grabbed my shoulder out of nowhere.
"As your opponent, aren't you interested at my stadium?"
Well, I'm interested. But... why would he do this? Maybe just to mock me? That he got a better stadium than me? Well, I don't really care about his reason, but the fact still remains that he's showing it to me. I nodded my head and he smiled.
After that, he slowly reached to his pocket and took the picture of his stadium. He held his picture and shown the back of the picture, then he slowly turned it around.
Now, what stadium did he got?
+++++
After a bit of seconds, he finally showed it to me, his stadium. Like I thought, this guy is very lucky. He got a stadium that can fit 5000 people inside, and It was called The V Stadium.
It doesn't have a roof, though. I took second look at mine and saw that the stadium I picked has a roof. Maybe smaller ones have a roofs, while bigger ones doesn't have any? I shrugged it off for now, and looked at his stadium's address.
The moment I saw the address, my mind was filled despair, confusion, and other emotions! This is... hell! What's with this demon's luck!? He already got a big stadium yet the stadium's location is exactly beside mine!
I can't breath normally! What's with this? I really thought that I'm an unfortunate person but isn't this too much? I already had so many bad lucks the last few days. My bad luck supposed to have run out now!
Now, that their stadium is just beside ours, there's no way in hell we can even win! The slightest of chance we have winning, already disappeared like a bubble.
Because their concert in just beside us, we're going to get overwhelmed! Not mentioning, their popularity and the fact that their stadium is bigger than ours! My head hurts, because of all this irrationality.
"Araragi, right? There are still things to this world that can't beat hard work and talent, and that's... luck."
After giving the picture to the man guarding it, and registered my name, I've gone home. I don't want to go to school anymore, I'm tired. After I've got home, I've gone directly to my room and lied down to my bed.
This sucks, this sucks so bad, I want to cry.
I just lied down to my bed, not doing anything despite the very serious problem we're facing right now.
"Like I thought, I can't just sleep soundly in front of this dilemma. Maybe watching some TV will calm me down."
I reached to the TV remote and pushed the power button. It took some seconds, and It finally opened.
"The long awaited battle of Saitama Lycaon's, and Tokyo Eagles are now happening here at the Kanto Stadium."
Oh? So Saitama Lycaons are finally going to have a match with Eagles, huh? It's been a while, since I watched a baseball match, I've been busy these days.
"Oh!? What a disappointment! Looks like the game is cancelled today due to..."
Even if the announcer didn't said any of that, I can clearly see why the game will be cancelled behind her. So It's happening in Kanto right now.
At that moment, as if a lightning bullet had pierced my brain, an inspiration hit me. After realizing it, I immediately checked the calendar for our match.
It's one week from now, July 14, huh? After that, I checked the internet and found the thing that I'm looking for.
At that moment, I thought of it. The ultimate strategy to win. Enough to even turn this hopeless situation around. But It's not a 100% win. Considering that something could happen that is not counted on my plans, I'd say It's 50%.
But It's enough. 50% is enough to win! With that, I walked towards the window, and looked at the sky.
"Just wait, Sunflowers! We, The Cherry Blossoms, will crush you!"
