As soon as the words left my mouth, I saw the color of her face draining away as if a blood sucking creature had managed to sink its teeth in her neck. How badly I wished for it to come true! But to my misfortune, it was just my wish, one which wouldn't come true.
She opened her mouth a little, but instead of saying something, she closed it again. She repeated the process again while I just kept staring back at her with a bored expression.
Just when I started to think that she might leave the spot in her frustration as almost everyone had their faces turned towards us, enjoying the drama, she spoke up only to be interrupted.
"H-how dare-"
"How dare I what? Talk to you like this?" I scoffed. "Who do you think you are? Don't you have any respect for yourself?"
