The beeping sound from the door startled her.

After tidying up her house, Gu Xin Ye planned to head to her room to take a long shower.

Every few minutes, Gu Xin Ye would hear a noise that startled her. A while later, everything around the house would make her jump.
Now that she was not busying herself with anything, Gu Xin Ye realized that she was scared.
She had planned to take a long shower. But now, she was not comfortable to stay in the bathroom for too long.
