"Lin Qiao." Shen Yi Nian looked straight into Lin Qiao's eyes. "Are you in a relationship?"
Gu Xin Ye leaned forward as she alternated her gaze between her two friends. She was curious to know how Lin Qiao was going to answer Shen Yi Nian's question.
There was a long silence between them.
Lin Qiao stared back at Shen Yi Nian blankly. Her expression looked calm. However, no one knew how her heart was beating fast. Lin Qiao was not expecting this question from Shen Yi Nian and did not know how she was going to answer.
Three pairs of eyes were looking at each other.
After a moment that felt like a lifetime, Lin Qiao finally smiled. "Nian Nian, why are you asking me this question? It was too sudden. It caught me off guard."
"Are you?" Shen Yi NIan did not plan to let Lin Qiao off before she could give her an answer.
Lin Qiao tightened her grip on the menu in her hand, hoping it would help her calm down.
