"You... you're awake," Gu Xin Ye finally spoke. "Why do you drink so much? Should I take you back?"
Qin Zhan did not answer but continued to stare at Gu Xin Ye for a long time until Gu Xin Ye started to think that perhaps, Qin Zhan was sleeping with his eyes open.
Gu Xin Ye was about to poke Qin Zhan on his cheek when the man suddenly spoke.
"I must be drunk," Qin Zhan muttered. His voice was a whisper, but Gu Xin Ye could hear him loud and clear. "Look, I'm imagining that heartless Gu Xin Ye in front of me."
The corner of her lips began to twitch. "Who are you calling heartless?"
"Leaving without saying goodbye... If that's not heartless, then what is?"
Gu Xin Ye pursed her lips and lowered her head. She knew that she was at fault for leaving without saying a word. But then again, she thought that she would never see Qin Zhan again after leaving Z Town. Who would expect that she would still meet him in this situation?
