After class is over, Lee looks over and sees Seokju sleeping again. Lee is surprised by this.
"He fell asleep again?" He says.
He then reaches over and taps Seokju on his shoulder, waking him up. Seokju yawns and stretches his arms out.
"Wow, I slept through class again? Jeez, I need to get more sleep at night."
Lee smirks and heads out of class, but the teacher stops him, while Mikey is standing next to her.
"Lee, this is Mikey Yu. He'll be showing you around school."
A shy Mikey smiles nervously.
"Hello, it's- nice to meet you."
Lee smiles at him and extends his hand to him.
"It's nice to meet you. I hope we can become friends."
Mikey is surprised by how kind Lee is and feels a small sense of ease around him. Mikey shakes his hand and grins slightly more.
"That'd be great."
Later, Lee and Mikey walk down the hallway, as Mikey shows him where the bathroom, lockers, and nurses office is. Lee then sees a mural of the a battle where a man with red aura is surrounded by multiple enemies. Mikey notices Lee's interest in the mural.
"I see you like that painting too. It's everywhere, around the country." Mikey says.
"What is it?" Lee asks.
Mikey smiles.
"The Great War. Where a man, known as The God of Martial-Arts stood up against the Celestials who were trying to control the world. People say no one has ever seen the level of Ki or Martial-Arts skills shown by him. No one has seen The God of Martial-Arts ever since then, so it's presumed that he died during the battle, but his power is still remembered."
Lee can't take his eyes off of the God of Martial-Arts, almost like he's in a trance. Mikey is confused by this, as he's been talking to him for a few minutes, with no answer.
"Lee? Is everything ok?"
Lee finally snaps out of it and looks over at him, smiling.
"Sorry, I spaced out there for a minute." He says while rubbing the back of his head.
"Oh, it's fine. So you wanna continue the tour?"
"Sure." Lee replies.
As they continue walking, the girl with red hair notices Lee and start staring at him. Lee notices this and is confused by how intense her stare is.
"Hey, who is that?" Lee asks.
Mikey turns around, sees the girl intensely staring in their direction and immediately turns away, his face turning blue.
"Oh uh- that's Mira Ko. She's really scary and strong, but none of the guys here won't take her seriously because she's a girl. But all the female students are afraid of her tho."
Lee nods, continuing to walk through the hall. At that moment, they run into Mikey's two friends, Kira and Tai.
"Hey Mikey." Tai says.
"Hi guys, I was showing around our new classmate around. This is Lee."
Lee grins and waves at them.
"Nice to meet you." Lee says.
Kira's face starts to turn red and Tai notices this and smirks.
"Well I'm Tai, and this- is my beautiful friend Kira. She's single by the way, so you should definitely do something about that." Tai says, pushing Kira infront of Lee.
"Tai, cut it out." Kira tells her.
She then looks over and gets a good look at Lee's face and realizes just how good looking he is. She stands up straight and rubs the back of her head, avoiding eye contact.
"Sorry, Tai doesn't really have a filter, if ran away right now, wouldn't really blame you, I mean all three of us are weird so we-"
Lee interrupts her by extending his hand with a smile.
"I think you guys are cool. It's nice to meet you." Lee
Kira looks at Lee's Kind and gentle smile and and can't help but grin back at him. She then shakes his hand, looking at him with a bright smile.
"Thank you."
While the two continue to smile at each other, Tai is smirking in the background with Mikey.
"This one's perfect for her, I can tell." She says with a proud look on her face.
Mikey sighs.
"Why do you always have to play matchmaker?" He asks.
She chuckles confidently.
"Because if not me, no one will." She answers intensely, pointing at nothing.
Mikey stands there, staring at her awkwardly.
"So, where are you moving here from, Lee?" Kira asks.
"Well I've been living here for all my life, my mom and grandpa thought it was time I go to school and be around people my own age." Lee answers.
"Oh, so you were homeschooled before this?" Tai asks.
"Yep, my grandpa taught me everything I know, he's crazy smart." Lee answers with a grin.
Kira smiles.
"So what do you think of our school so far?" She asks.
"Oh, I think it's-"
At that moment Lee senses something coming at him from behind. A ball then hits him in the back of the head, surprising everyone and catching Mira Ko's attention again.
"Oh my God, Lee are you okay?" Kira asks.
"That was a nasty hit." Mikey says.
The three of them are then even more surprised when Lee looks up with a smile, not even affected by the hit.
"It's alright, no need to worry, I'm fine."
Tai, Kira, and Mikey look at him confused.
"But- that ball hit you square on in the back of the head." Tai points out.
At that moment, Gisu kim, along with two other students( a giant named Taesu Gi and one with green hair named Hyeokjin Ju) approach them with an obnoxious smirk.
"Sorry about that, the ball just... slipped." Gisu Kim says, as the three of them chuckle to each other.
"Now let's see what this guys made of." Gisu Kim thinks to himself.
Lee picks up the ball and hands it to Gisu Kim with a smile, surprising him.
"No worries, it didn't even hurt so no need to apologize."
This infuriates Gisu Kim as a large forehead vain appears in the middle of his forehead. He then snatches the ball from Lee and walking away.
"Cocky bastard." Kim says as Taesu and Hyeokjin follow.
"I think you made him mad." Tai says.
Lee is confused.
"I didn't mean to." Lee says.
"You better be careful, those guys are the strongest kids in school. The big three." Mikey says, still scared even after they've left.
Lee is surprised by this.
"Wait, really?" Lee says, not sure if that's true.
At that moment, Mira scoffs and slams her locker door closed, scaring Mikey. She then walks over to them, staring intensely at Lee who looks back at her with a blank expression.
"Why didn't you dodge?" She asks him.
Kira and the others are confused by the question as Lee doesn't answer.
"I know you could have easily dodge that, so why did you let those idiots hit you with that ball?" Mira asks again.
"It's because he didn't want Takeda to get hit in the face with the ball." A voice says.
Everyone looks over and sees Seokju Sin walking over to them.
"He knew that if he dodged, she would get hit and he didn't have enough time to turn around and catch it, so he took the hit. Am I right, Han?" He asks with a smirk.
Lee smiles, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Well I would have felt bad if she got hit because of me, you know?" He answers.
Kira starts to blush while Tai let's out a silent "Aww" with stars in her eyes. Mira just scoffs at the response and walks away. Seokju slowly starts to walk away, with a smirk still on his face.
"I knew there was a reason why I liked you. Now I'm really excited to fight you." Seokju says as he leaves.
Lee smiles, can't help but be excited as well.
"Wow, you must be pretty special. Those two never talk to anyone." Kira says.
Lee chuckles for a moment, then the bell rings.
"Looks like it's lunch time, hey Lee you want to sit with us?" Mikey asks.
Lee looks at all three of them smiling at him and can't help but feel happy.
"Yes." He says with a big smile.
The four of them then walk to the cafeteria together.
Later when school let's out, Lee and the others walk out of school together.
"So, um- the three of us were going to- you know- hangout. Would you like to join us?" Kira says, a little nervous.
Lee smiles.
"Sure, I'd love to." Lee answers.
Kira grins when she hears this.
"So you guys want to head to the convenience store?" Mikey asks the group.
He then accidentally bumps into Taesu, causing him to drop his phone. Mikeys face turns pale and starts to tremble as Taesu gets angry, with purple aura emanating from his body. He slowly turns around to Mikey, as Mikey slowly stumbles back.
"You made me drop my phone, you little bitch. I'm gonna make you pay for that." Taesu says, slowly approaching Mikey.
Before anything else can happen, Lee steps, trying to calm down the situation.
"Come on, can't we just talk about thi-" Before Lee can finish his sentence, Taesu hits Lee in the face, knocking him through a fence and into a car across the street while Gisu Kim and Hyeokjin laugh.
"Lee!" Mikey yells.
"I wouldn't be worried about him. What I'm about to do to you will be much worse."
As Taesu prepares to throw a giant punch, Mikey closes his, trying to brace himself for impact. Kira tries to stop this, but is too late a Taesu fist comes straight towards Mikey's face. Mikey is then surprised when he doesn't feel anything. He slowly opens his eyes and sees Lee stomping the punch with a vertical downward kick, shocking him, Kira, Tai, Taesu, and Gisu Kim.
"I wasn't expecting to fight on my first day. But I guess there's no avoiding it now."
Taesu gets angry by this and throws another punch at Lee, but the young man easily dodges and elbows the large student in the gut, causing a shockwave that shocked everyone even more.
"Who the hell is this guy?" Gisu Kim asks, sweat dripping down his face.
