Lee slowly steps back from Taesu, the giant drops to his knees, eyes watering and throwing up. He then turns to Mikey with a smile on his face.
"You ok, Mikey?" He asks.
Mikey doesn't answer for a moment, still stunned by what just happened.
"Y-Yeah- yes. Thank- thank you for the uh, save."
Lee rubs the back of his neck.
"Don't mention it. Sorry if I worried you guys, I got caught off guard with that hit."
While all the other students who are outside all murmur among themselves, Seokju Sin and Mira Ko watch from a distance.
"Woah, he beat Taesu Gi with one hit. guess the big three aren't that tough after all." a student says.
Gisu Kim hears this and gets angry.
"What was that?" He asks as light blue aura emanates from his body, scaring the student into silence.
Kim then grits his teeth and looks at Taesu.
"Hey Taesu, what the hell is your problem?! Get up and show that bastard who we are!"
Taesu grits his teeth out of anger, his ki erupting from his body, letting out a loud roar. Lee gets a serious look on his face.
"Mikey, stand back. Now." He says.
Mikey nods, quickly standing back, hiding behind Kira and Tai.
"I'm going to break every bone in your body!" Taesu yells.
As he is about to attack, Lee prepares to dodge.
"Hold him." Gisu Kim orders Hyeokjin.
"On it."
Hyeokjin runs behind Lee and holds his hands out towards him, aura glowing bright green. Lee is then confused when he suddenly couldn't move, then gets punched in the face. Taesu then reigns down strikes, hitting Lee over and over again, shattering the ground. He finally stops, as Kira and the others look on, worried about Lee.
Gisu Kim chuckles.
"That'll teach that cocky bitch to mess with us."
Taesu then cringes in pain as his hands are covered in bruises.
"Damn, did I over do it with my ki? No, it feels like I was hitting a brick wall."
As the smoke clears, everyone is stunned to see Lee still standing with barely any scratches on him.
"What the hell? How is he still standing like nothing happened?" Kim asks himself.
Lee then turns to Hyeokjin, startling him a bit.
"I see, you use your ki to hold people in place while the other two attack them. What a cheap trick."
Lee then has an even more intense look on his face as he dashes at Taesu. Hyeokjin tries to hold him in place again, but can't lock on him.
"Damn, he's moving too fast, I can't stop him."
Lee kicks Taesu inside leg with pure precision, causing Taesu to cringe in pain. Taesu goes for another punch but Lee blocks it and quickly punches him in the face, knocking him out, stunning Gisu Kim and Hyeokjin. When Lee turns to Hyeokjin, fear starts to fall over him. He quickly shakes it off and holds his hands out towards Lee.
"I can hold him in place while Gisu finishes him off."
At that moment, Hyeokjin loses sight of Lee.
"What? Where did he-"
Before Hyeokjin could finish his sentence, Lee knees him across the face.
"You guys rely on your ki abilities too much." Lee says.
After Hyeokjin stumbles back a little, he quickly puts up his arms to block any other attacks to his face. Lee then stands infront of him and hits him square in the chin with a high front kick, knocking him out as well.
At that moment, Lee is struck from behind with electric like ki. Gisu Kim laughs as his body emanates light blue aura.
"You gotta be tired, taking on Taesu and Hyeokjin like that. Don't worry, I'll teach you a lesson all by myself."
His laughs will soon stop as Lee turns around, unaffected by his ki attacks. As he walks towards him, fear starts to come over Gisu.
"H-H-Hey, w-wait a minute, we can talk this out, right? Come on, we were just joking around."
Lee scowls at Gisu Kim.
"It's sad. The way that you guys used your strength to bully and push around people weaker than you, and now that you're faced with someone who can actually hold their own, you have the nerve to tremble and beg. It's pathetic. You guys suck."
As Lee gets closer and closer, Gisu Kim panics and throws a fast punch. Lee easily dodges it, then knees Gisu in the gut, stopping him in his tracks and follows up with a vicious uppercut, dropping him to the ground.
Everyone is stunned for a minute, in disbelief that one person was able to beat the big three so easily without so much as a scratch. The silence then turn into cheers as everyone were victims of the big three's bulling. Kira and the others then run over to him.
"Lee, that was amazing! You kicked all their assess like it was easy!" Tai says.
"You were amazing, I had no idea someone could actually fight like that." Mikey says.
Lee grins.
"Thanks you guys."
"Are you sure you're ok? They hit you pretty hard a few times."
Lee smiles at Kira to reassure her.
"No worries, I'm alright. Promise."
Kira nods and smiles back at him.
"So are we still gonna hang out?" Lee asks.
Kira, Tai, and Mikey smile at Lee.
"Of course." They all say the four of them walk to a convenience store.
Meanwhile Mira Ko walks away, watching the fight very closely, as was Seokju who is even more excited about a fight between him and Lee. From the roof of the school, the same man who was watching Lee earlier stands, watching the fight as well. As he breaths out smoke from his cigarette, he chuckles to himself.
"Yep, definitely like his old man." He says to himself.
Later on, Lee and the others sit outside of the convenience store eating Ramen together. As they enjoy the food, they talk and laugh with each other. After that, they start walking Tai stops in her tracks, gasping dramatically.
"Kareoke bar! We have to go in." Tai says.
"Oh I don't know guys." Mikey says.
"Oh stop, come on, it'll be fun."
Tai drags Mikey inside as Lee and Kira follow. Later as Tai sings loud and proudly, Mikey sings quietly and nervously. Both Lee and Kira laugh, Kira notices a different kind of smile from Lee.
"What?" She asks.
"Nothing, it's just. I never had this in my life." Lee says.
"A headache from terrible singing?" Kira jokingly asks.
Lee doesn't answer for a moment, still smiling.
"Friends." He finally answers.
Kira stares at Lee, smiling slightly at him. She then puts her hand on his.
"Well now you do." She tells him.
As the two look into each others eyes, Kira realizes where her hand is, quickly removing it, face turning bright red.
"Kira, come on, join us." Tai says.
Kira begrudgingly stands up, grabs the microphone and starts to sing. As she does, Lee is stunned, thinking that her singing was beautiful. He smiles slightly while blushing, continuing to listen to her.
Elsewhere, Mira Ko is in the woods kicking and punching a heavy bag. As thoughts of Lee movements during the fight today, her aura begins to erupt, kicking the heavy bag across the woods.
"Lee Han, I swear... I will beat you."
As that's happening, Seokju stands infront of a grave.
"Sorry I haven't visited in awhile, I've been trying to catch up in school, apparently me sleeping during class isn't helping much."
He puts flowers infront of the tombstone.
"I met a new kid in class today. He's strong and a pretty good fighter. He reminds me a lot of you. It's funny... for the first time in a long time, I actually want to fight again. Don't worry, I've still been training, it's just that... ever since you died, there hasn't been anyone I want to fight. But this guy, he made me feel the itch again."
Seokju stands to his feet and turns to walk away.
"I'll try my best to win. Can't let both of you beat me afterall."
He then walks away, waving bye to his only friend.
Back with Lee, he's telling his mom and grandpa everything that happened today with a very excited tone and smile.
Both Mai and Jin smile, happy that he made friends and that he enjoyed his first day at school.
"That's good to hear, Lee. I am very happy for you." Jin says.
"Thanks grandpa. Well, I think I'm gonna go train for awhile before heading to bed. I love you guys."
As Lee heads upstairs, Mai breaths a sigh of relief.
"See? I told you there was nothing to worry about." Jin says.
"I guess you were right." Mai says.
Mai then feels something.
"I think I'm going to head outside."
She then walks outside into the woods. Mai looks around for someone.
"I know you're there."
After moment, the man who was watching Lee through the day comes out from behind a tree. He smirks at Mai.
"It's been awhile... sister. How did you know I was here."
Mai folds her arms.
"We were born together, that connection goes beyond ki." Mai says.
"I guess so."
"What are you doing here, Zane?"
Zane looks at his sister for a moment.
"You know the answer already, Mai."
Mai sighs.
"My son, isn't a threat to the world government." Mai says.
"I know. I just want to make sure he doesn't lose control of that power and make sure he's safe. Is the old man's seal still in affect?"
"Yes."
"Good, that means the Celestials don't know about him, so that's a headache avoided."
Mai thinks for a moment.
"Would you... want to come inside?"
Zane doesn't answer for a moment.
"No. I don't think so. Thank you... for the offer."
As Zane starts to walk away, Mai stops him.
"I'm ok with you watching him from a distance. But if you or the other executives hurt my son. I will kill you all."
Zane smirks.
"Message received, sis."
As Mai is left alone, she let's out a sigh and looks at the sky, thinking about her husband.
