As I got out of the car, e noticed that the farm was much larger than it appeared from the road. In fact, once she passed through a large gate, she saw that it wasn't a farm. It was a camp. Everyone was running around in the same orange shirt. Two of them were walking towards me. Neither of them couldn't have been older than 15. It looked like they were are arguing about something.
"Percy, you know we can't win Capture The Flag with you always getting Clarisse mad," said a young blonde girl.
The guy next to her was too busy eating a blue cookie to care. He simply shrugged and answered that it went both ways after swallowing it. Both of them were too busy to notice until they were a few feet away from me.
"A new camper?" the blonde girl asked.
"C'mon Annabeth, give her some space. Because you're getting that weird look again," Percy said.
Annabeth decided that was the moment to sucker punch the guy. After that, she walked to me with a smile. "Must be her boyfriend," I thought.
"Don't worry," Annabeth said with a laugh. "Seaweed Brain can take it. And I need to take you to the Big House." She was pointing at a large blue house when she said the last part. Percy was still curled up in a ball. So I decided listening was better than any other options. Annabeth and I walked to the house, but I couldn't believe everything I saw around me. Everything looked like it belonged in a museum. Some of it looked like a hazard warning was needed. And once we reached the house, I could tell something was up. A large man in a Hawaiian shirt was sitting and playing cards with invisible players.
"Mr. D...?" Annabeth started.
"Annabelle, do not interrupt my game. You know where the film is and I have quite a few drachma at stake," the man huffed. Clearly he was a jerk, but I could feel a slight itch when he got irritated.
"Yes, Mr. D," Annabeth said. She took me to a small viewing room and put on an old film. It started out normal, but soon became filled with Greek monsters, gods, and a few other things. Apparently I had died and gone to the asylum in the sky.
When it was done, I heard a conch shell being blown. "Dinner time," Annabeth muttered. "Follow me and I'll show you where to sit," Annabeth said. "Connor and Travis will show you around tomorrow. And I hope that they have extra armor for Capture The Flag."
I was still stunned. All this at once? But when she said armor, I guess I got excited. I felt a rush just thinking about wearing armor for a fight. Even if I didn't know why, it felt like I was in my real heaven.
