To begin, I will do two things in this chapter. First up is honoring everyone who kept me going on this story and the people who gave me the idea of even beginning this in the first place. Second is naming those who are immortalized as characters within this story. In exactly 1.5 hours after this has gone up, the livestream begins for those who wish to find out more.
Emmanuel G. Reyes - This man is my closest friend. He is one of two people who told me to write this story. He saw the potential, and has been an constant voice in how this story has progressed.
Juan Enriquez - My brother, the one who started the journey that made this all come to pass. If you haven't read my autobiography yet, he's the reason I got out of an abusive foster home and even had the chance to talk with Emmanuel after so many years.
Alexandra Medina - When I couldn't reach Emmanuel, this woman was always there to help. She's seen the story, and while I was on a small hiatus she convinced me to return sooner than expected.
Lierk Sama - This bold weeb invited me to his Facebook group chat shortly after I started. Now, everyone on that group chat has kept me going whenever things get too emotional or even if I just need a break.
Scarlet Aleho - The first person to really mess with me on the group chat. She wasn't rude or even a bully, she just teased everyone. With her light-hearted nature, quite a few things were formed in this story.
Christian Valdez - Despite him not wanting to read this fanfic. I wanted this to succeed so he could see the potential in his own works. None have been posted, but with his skill they would be amazing.
Aina Suzuki - This young lady actually helped fix a character I was having trouble with. She may be a tsundere, but she's got a golden heart for those she feels in need of it. Thank goodness she came to me for help, because I would never have found what I needed.
Final Congratulations goes to all readers. If it wasn't for the rush of seeing you guys go nuts for each chapter, this would never have made it so far. And now for the inspirations for every character.
Lucius Filius Saeculi - Myself. Yes, Lucius is a lot like me, maybe not currently, but definitely me at the hardest points of my life.
Omoro Katastroff - Omoro started out as an old friend named Alexis, but once I started talking with Scarlet a lot changed. Omoro became less of a shy and reclusive character and more of a teasing one.
William "Bill" Stern - Here's a twist. Bill was based on my father a lot at the start of his inclusion in the story. Then I started slowly working in the traits of a friend by the name of Benito Garcia. You'll notice Bill goes from serious to fun loving but stern in later chapters.
Lucy Rose - Lucy didn't have anyone she was based on for nearly the entire time I was writing her. Once Bill started resembling Benito, however, I had Lucy slowly resemble his girlfriend. I never flat out said it until the latest chapter, but there were a lot of hints.
Skylar Nimbus - This one is a funny story. Skylar nearly didn't happen until Scarlet showed me a anime clip. Teasing Master Takagi-San's storm scene was the inspiration for Skylar. As it got farther, I slowly incorporated different anime characters into Skylar's own character. You'll notice a lot of little sister, big sister, and even some Shoujo tropes throughout a lot of her time in the story. (My favorite had to be her keeping the pegasi.)
Beverly Jones - This one was hard enough to start, but I had a few people I know who fit her entire character. Among them are Alexandra and a friend of ours by the name of Teresa Gabriela Torres. Both of them strayed from being the typical tropes you see for them. And that started Beverly on her route to being the only joyful, carefree, and happy Daughter of Pluto. Even a little bit of Teresa's actions from years ago made it into the story.
Harry Welch - First off, yes, this is meant to be the illegitimate son of Brian "the Head" Welch. No, I didn't make this as an joke or because I hate the guy. I thought of Harry when I got a gift returned to me after 6 years. A close friend finally returned an book called "I Am Second" to me. The book is basically life stories for a lot of famous people that became Christians through making Christ first in their lives. In it was Brian Welch, and since he fit into the type of person who Apollo would likely date, I simply placed Harry as an homage to him. Even going so far as to make Harry's main abilities sound-based.
Billy Jade - I will say this, Billy had no exact person, and actually barely got one as of chapter 30. It might be too late for him at this point in the story, but when I do his solo story, then you'll see a whole new part of him.
Larry James - This guy was based on a incident during a movie I was watching one day. An odd occurrence happened when me, a friend, and Alexis were together. The movie sparked the memory. And Larry James became that friend. If you see this Edward, I'm sorry about everything.
Jeremy Nel - This character is based on Emmanuel G. Reyes. Despite very few roles or actions throughout the story, his character always has one major tactic, "Go Big or Go Home." And as academic rivals in the past, Emmanuel and I know each other like the backs of our hands. That's another reason Jeremy's a legacy of Neptune (outcast at Camp Jupiter), and Lucius is the Son of Saturn (outcast from both camps).
Loretta Fin - This will be an insanely long list for Loretta, but I'll do my best. Loretta was inspired by three little girls I used to babysit, Scarlet Aleho, Aina Suzuki, a little sister of one of the group chat members, and X-23 from the movie Logan. Yes, all of these contributed to Loretta, and her increased importance (or appearances) are because all of these people and characters continuing to show themselves in my daily life (outside of the three I used to babysit).
