They soon arrived and Hyunjin got up from his seat and so did Hanuel. After they got down, Hyunjin saw Hanuel. He smiled at her. Hanuel greeted him and they walked towards their campus together.
While they were walking together, Hanuel; receives a call. She saw the caller ID as "Minnie" so she answers her, "YAH! DID YOU JUST FORGET ABOUT YOUR BEST FRIEND?"
"Yah, it's not like that"
"What do you mean by that Hanuel? You didn't call me since last 4 days; I was worried about you, you didn't even came online and I kept on messaging you like a fool. Meet me today after classes at our usual hangout cafe. I don't want to hear a 'NO' Hanuel; so better be there at time."
"Arraseo, Minnie. You never listen to me anyways and I was bit busy with my assignments. Mian."
"Okay, but don't be late. Yah Jeon Hanuel, I gotta go for my classes, bye. Take care" Minnie said hung up.
Hanuel was happy, to hear Minnie's voice after so long. Both being in different university and different majors, did make their meetings and things bit tough for them but they are finding ways to be happy, both of them have good friends with them.
"Jeon Hanuel, receiving a call from Minnie, makes you that happy; that you are smiling like a fool?" Hyunjin teased her. Hanuel just smiled and nodded. Hanuel was happy now and was very excited to meet Minnie after a busy schedule.
Hyunjin and Hanuel kept their books in their locker.
"Hyunjin, are you free today after classes?" Hanuel heard a voice; it was Seulgi, the flirt of their department. She looked at them, Seulgi was leaning towards Hyunjin. Hyunjin was always approached by Seulgi, sometimes he felt irritated. Hanuel was waiting for his reply, "Sorry, Kim Seulgi I am busy. I need to go out with my noona, so bye." and Hyunjin leaves. Hanuel starts smiling, and she saw Seulgi's face which showed her fake smile. Hanuel too heads to her class.
Classes soon started as usual.
Some classes were over and they had break and then they had practicals. During the break,5 seniors came; all the students, became curious. One senior came forward, he was wearing specs, black hair with the bangs perfectly covering his forehead and a milk white skin.
"Guys, we are going to have a Fresher' Party. Prepare yourself and come. We will have fun" that guy announced, "Yah; don't be so straight forward Yoon and let me tell them." a girl came and slightly hit him; Yoon. "Guys, I am Han JaeIn, and this guy is Kang Yoon. And let me announce, you all are coming to Fresher's Party, which is the day after tomorrow. We, your seniors planned surprises for you and there will be games too. So look forward this and as you are in Freshman's year, clubs are open. You can come and join any club. And me and Yoon are in Music club 'Kkhum' which is 'dream'. That's all and you all continue to have fun during break"
"Bye guys!" the seniors said and left; that was one of the most cheerful way.
Everyone got excited and everyone was planning out with their friends, where as Hanuel was in a corner. Staring at her phone, which showed a picture of her with Minnie. Hanuel was missing her, because Hanuel always planned parties and all with Minnie and they have fun always together. But now, they weren't together. She took out her earphones and played songs, she kept her head down. And the music started getting her. Her playlist wasn't helping her at all, her eyes started getting teary and she started to sob.
Hyunjin saw her, he got a hunch that she must be missing Minnie, because they were always together and here; she don't have friends. 'She definitely need time to adjust' Hyunjin thought. And he went near Hanuel. Hyunjin dragged a chair and sat, he tapped her shoulder and heard her sobbing. "Yah, Hanuel. Hanuel. Are you okay?" Hyunjin asked her.
Hanuel got up and ran outside holding her phone tight, she went to rooftop. Hanuel was cryin'
Hyunjin went out, after Hanuel. He knows, she need someone right now. Hyunjin ran up to the rooftop and saw the door open. He saw Hanuel sitting on a corner and crying. He ran up to her. "Hanuel, it's okay" Hyunjin said, he patted her back. Hanuel wiped up her tears, she looked at Hyunjin, and then she smiled. "It's okay Hanuel, you are going to meet her today. Don't worry", Hanuel nodded and smiled. They got up. And went to the boundary, the breeze was smoothing.
"I just miss her. The reason why I didn't contact her was because I knew if I called I would breakdown and cry. I thought I will get over it, but I don't have friends here too." Hanuel sighed.
"Don't worry you will have friends, and you have me too!" Hyunjin said her. And she smiled, Hanuel felt better. Whenever she is down, Hyunjin helped her.
Finally classes were over and day came to an end. Hanuel hurriedly took a bus and excitedly went to their usual cafe. After reaching there, she saw Minnie, sitting and staring at her phone. Hanuel went running to her and hugged her. Minnie got up, and looked at her.
"Yah, Hanuel. How are you doing?" Minnie asked and Hanuel was just happy.
"Minnie, I just missed you" and she pinched Minnie's cheeks. "Yah. Stop it here at least!" Minnie shooed her away.
They sat together, exchanged their university gossips and Hanuel told her about Fresher's Party and they decided to go for shopping tomorrow. They had a great time together. They missed hanging out with eachother and going to internet cafes to play games. Since, Minnie is a Music major and Hanuel is Practical dance, it is tough for them to make up plans during working days.
Minnie and Hanuel went home after they had dinner outside, both of them were happy; cause they enjoyed their time. Their friendship isn't weak.
