"Yahhh, remember I told you about Minhyuk sunbae, he told me that I look cute when I am drunk awwwww. I can't stop smiling at that fact and you know he told me he likes me because I am kind and I'm cute when I am drunk. I don't know but this makes me smile, hehe" She let it out in one breath.
"What did you just say?" she heard and looked at the caller ID and it wasn't Minnie.
"Hyun-Hyunjin?" she asked
"Minhyuk sunbae asked you out? Ar-Are you guys together?" he was curious and she was nervous but as much as she was nervous she wanted to tell him that they are not together. The fact she called him instead of Minnie, was eating her up. her bus arrived; that was the best excuse to hang up. "My bus arrived. I am hanging up"
"Hanu-" she hung up. She got up in the bus and her heart was beating fast. She was scared and worried. She sat near the window and started looking outside, it was nearly 7:30 pm and the busy city looked pretty. Her phone started ringing, the caller id showed it was Hyunjin. She didn't want to talk to him for some unknown reasons she felt she shouldn't talk to him now. She also wanted to ask him, what about Seulgi? Are they together? what was that earlier? she again shrugged off the thoughts and kept her iPhone in "do not disturb" mode and plugged her airpods and started listening to music.
After sometime, she reached home. She went to her bedroom and changed into her white loose t-shirt and shorts. She went to her kitchen and made something light for dinner, she kept it on the table because she wasn't hungry at all. She was on the bed now and unlocked her phone, just to see 10 missed calls and 15 texts from Hyunjin asking, did she reach home, where is she and why isn't she picking up. Without thinking twice, she called up Minnie.
"Minnie, I screwed up again."
"What happened now girl? tell me"
"You remember, Minhyuk sunbae?"
"HMM"
"He asked me to meet up in a cafe and he confessed me, I turned him down obviously and then I asked him why he liked me. he replied me that I am kind and there's no reason to like someone. And I am cute when I am drunk, I was giggling to this fact. I called you, wait not you. I called up Hyunjin and I thought it was you and guess what?-
"You blurted him everything with excitement. Right?"
"HOW DO YOU KNOW?"
"Who am I to you MS. JEON HANUEL? YOUR BESTFRIEND. I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU"
"Yea yea, but wha-
"Didn't you tell him? wait you must have hung up the call back then. Tell him what happened, pabo"
"Minnie, he just asked me whether we are together or not. I just.. you know today I saw Seulgi, with him, she was holding his hand. I don't know, I just don't feel good when I see them together. I don't like them together but the students get excited to see them together. They love them together Minnie. I don't get a good feeling."
"Stop overthinking. Just call him, and it's okay to feel like that until and unless you don't fall in love with Hyunjin. So, just call him and talk."
"Oh, by the way I heard that Samuel sunbae is going to your University for internships? I met him in the bus stand the other day shouldn't you check on him?"
"Thanksssss for telling me. Let me check on him tomorrow, now go and call Hyunjin. Okay?"
"Okay.Bye"

She sighed and dialed Hyunjin's number, for some unknown reason she was nervous and anxious. After 3 rings, Hyunjin answered the call. He was pissed off on her as well as worried; god knows what was going inside whereas the girl was totally anxious for the first time. "hey, Hyunjin" she tried to sound calm. Once he heard her voice, he was better than before. "Sorry, I didn't pick up your calls and didn't text you back."
"It's okay" 'no it wasn't' the inner self was saying him.
"I thought to tell you what you were asking, before I hung up because bus came." Hanuel was feeling like she committed a crime and she was confessing him like a puppy telling his owner.
"umm" This wasn't enough Hyunjin, admit it you are curious his heart was telling him.
"I met, Minhyunk sunbae and he did ask me out but I rejected him." she told him whatever happened.
"Ooo-oh, I see" he tried sound not too excited.
"So, can I ask you something? since we are best-friends?" she asked, her but it somehow hurt her to say just bestfriends. she doesn't know why.
"Umm"
"Are you and Seulgi toge-" her words were cut off
"No way!" he shouted suddenly, she was taken back.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to shout suddenly, you just asked something, that's not possible. I mean, I wanted to tell you about this but I don't know why I wanted to clear the misunderstanding that was too obvious for you to think and you just asked that." he cleared everything out and both of them felt relieved.
'Ooh. I see, it's okay. What were you doing now?" she tried to change the topic so it won't be awkward between them anymore, it's like they never talked about eachother like this, at least not 'who's asking out whom'
"Me? I was dancing, practicing some new choreo. What about you?"
"Oh. Good luck then, I need to practice playing my guitar too, I have been procrastinating a lot since past 4 days. I'll be hanging up then, bye" she wanted to talk to him more but she thought it would be better to give some time to herself, to stop being confusing and getting jealous about Seulgi.
They hung up, Hanuel took out her guitar and started playing it randomly at first then she started playing songs to feel better. She miss everything, she missed Minnie a lot now a days, she missed her dad. How can she not miss her dad a single day? it's not possible, she missed him a lot.

Everything went back to normal, two weeks already passed, she used to meet Samuel everyday and they used to talk and Hanuel got to know where does Samuel lives and he lives just 4 blocks far away from her apartment. Things got better between her and Hyunjin, they had fun together; Seulgi still bothered him and Hanuel still gets jealous but she rarely showed her emotions. Samuel found out that Minnie is in the University where he is doing his internship, they were happy to meet eachother; all the school memories came back. Everyone was happy and they were enjoying their university life. Minnie was in cloud9 because of Samuel's presence, they met everyday during breaks and do their lunch together.
