Chapter 74 - Power of an Expert

Noticing Gin's action, the beauty's eyes lips twitched a little but it soon shifted into that of a simple smile.

Even though it was a simple smile, it was like a spring breeze in summer; refreshing everyone. A smile that can enchant even the gods much less the mortals.

"You are an interesting fellow! If you join the Blue Orchid academy, I will save you from your current predicament. Naturally, you can also refuse." Luna's sister spoke, gazing at Gin.

Gin was startled a little hearing the beauty's offer but it forced him into a dilemma. Dean Alfin and his senior students took refuge in Rising dragon academy, so he wants to join the same academy.

Before Gin could refuse the offer, the beauty continued as if she didn't finish her sentence. "If you refuse, I will directly hand you over to that vengeful old man who wants to practically drink your blood."

A naked threat! Her intent is clear, join the Blue Orchid academy and survive—or perish here.

"Sister..." Luna called. She didn't understand why her sister behaves like a rogue and wants to recruit Gin to the academy.

Gin smiled bitterly. He could tell from the surrounding experts' expression, no one would help him even if he presents the transcended-grade technique to them.

Well, he should at least rejoice for the fact that he's saved from today's crisis.

"It's my fortune to join the Blue orchid academy!" Gin bowed his head, but he didn't think so in the heart.

Who would? When someone is coerced into something they don't want to. 'Hai, I even lost my freedom to decide my path.'

Gin was sure, the beauty is completely different from Luna whether it's her personality, appearance, or strength. She's the kind of person who follows her heart and will do whatever it takes to achieve something she wants.

"Excellent choice, you are a sensible person." Luna's sister nodded her approvingly.

'Choice? Lady, you virtually threatened me into accepting your offer.' Gin thought. 'Are all the experts like this?'

"Lady Moon, what's the meaning of this?" Old man Mesryth asked, suppressing his voice and fury bubbling within him.

"It's your grandson's fault for trying to kill someone, so you can't expect the other party to show mercy." Luna's sister calmly justified Gin's action.

"Is this how you defend a killer, Lady Moon? If someone killed your little sister, will you also do the same—"

'Bang!'

Even before the Old Man Mesryth could complete his sentence, a heavy noise sounded and he was sent flying.

At the same time, a suffocating pressure engulfed the entire area which is 100 times more terrifying than the Old Man Mesryth released.

As for Mesryth, his figure was crashed into one of the valleys situated some distance away from where everyone stood. His face was disfigured while blood dripped from his orifices; eyes, nose, mouth, and ears.

Everyone just heard a loud sound and in the next moment, the old man Mesryth was covered in blood as if he was pounded by more than 100 people.

His skin was cracked in multiple places, that gushed forth a fountain of blood. He lay motionless, surrounded by his own blood. No one knows whether he's alive or not. No one cares!

"Lady Moon, restrain your anger," Whitesword spoke.

The youths didn't feel anything so they don't know what the old man is saying, but all the experts cursed in their minds.

Except for the Human Union's Suns, all the expert's face was pale as if they were experiencing something unbearable. 'Idiotic old man, why can't you control your anger! We are suffering because of you.'

"Human Union's second Sun, his grandson targeted one of the students of my academy with an intent to kill.

If the Silver Dragon domain doesn't give me an explanation within tomorrow evening...Tell them, I will personally make a visit to their domain." Luna's sister spoke in a majestic tone as if everyone is beneath her.

"I will make sure your words are conveyed properly," Whitesword assured.

Luna's sister snorted a little and withdrew her pressure, only then everyone sighed a relief.

'This is the power of an expert!' A single statement that all it took for Gin's troubles to disappear and his status changed from murderer to victim.

Now, the Silver Dragon domain has to provide an explanation for attempting to kill him.

As for the other experts of the Silver Dragon domain, all of them mingled into the crowd, ducking their head. Zhyho is the worst, he hid behind the other representatives, trying his best to avoid the other people's sight.

No one went to help or even check the Old man Mesryth's condition, they dare not, dreading their action would anger the beauty, again.

Silence shrouded the entire area. None spoke, they just quietly stood unsure of what to do.

Guardian Faust came forward and requested, "Young Master Duanoz, can you explain what happened inside?"

He knows a few youths who went inside the ruin, but he trusts Duanoz because of his character and personality. Furthermore, he knows him personally.

"Yes,"

Not just Faust, Whitesword and other experts also perked up theirs and listened attentively. They want to know what's special about this ruin that drew the Fiends.

Duanoz calmly narrated the developments that transpired inside the ruin, from beginning to the end; about the Gravity Mountain, Beast Garden, and the last trial.

He also told them how they met the Fiends? their numbers and how they triumphed over them.

Once Duanoz ended his explanation, many prying eyes fell on Gin, Shaun, and Luna. According to him, these three played a vital role in defeating the Fiends.

Even Whitesword and Faust sent a good look at Gin. They are not fools since she wants him in the Blue Orchid Academy, then it means he's special.

Pity, they couldn't detect what's special about him. In fact, Gin also wants to know the reason.

Apart from the Fiends, what shocked them is the reward given by the last trial; Transcended-grade technique and Mortal-grade weapon.

The four youths—Duanoz, Gin, and the other two youths —become the target of the experts. All of them want to take a peek at the transcended-grade technique.

But they were disappointed, hearing the techniques were directly imprinted onto their mind. It happened to everyone, not just Gin.

Why the experts were disappointed? it's because one can't simply copy the technique imprinted on their mind. Only after comprehending the technique completely, they can copy it and that will take time.

It's also the reason why the middle-aged man gave a manual instead of imprinting it in Gin's mind when he asked for a technique to assure his life.

"In the future, once you are able to copy the technique, you can trade it with the Human Union for better resources and other techniques of equal value. We won't mistreat anyone." Guardian Faust stated.

"All you can leave now. The ruin is completely sealed, no one knows when it will open again.

Others are prohibited from accessing this area in the future, without the Human Union's permission. We will send some experts to watch over the ruin." Guardian Whitesword announced.

After his announcement, all the experts led the youths out of the area. They practically fled the scene.

Even the experts from the Human union and Fiend Hunter Alliance left the area, carrying their fallen and injured comrades.

Two of the Silver Dragon Domain Experts gathered their courage and went to pick Old Man Mesryth's broken body. Noticing the beauty didn't care about them, they too quickly fled the area along with other experts and youths.

"Windspear Inheritance Ground!" A new name was given to the ruin.

After 5 minutes, only a few remained. Whitesword, Faust, Gin, Blue Orchid academy students, teachers, Luna, and her sister.

As for Shaun, he left with the fellow students of Rising Dragon academy. They exchanged the contact numbers and decided to meet once he reaches the Starlight Domain.

"Shall we leave, Luna?" Her sister asked.

"Yes," Luna answered.

"Bye, Luna. It was nice meeting you." Gin waved his hand at Luna and gave a respectful bow facing her sister. "Thanks for your help, Miss. I have some unfinished business, I will visit the Blue orchid academy once I finish it."

But before he could take a step, a force bound his movement and elevated his feet off from the ground. His body was dangling in the air, a few inches above the ground.

"You are not going anywhere! What did you say his name is, Luna?" The beauty asked.

"Gin...I don't know his full name though." Luna giggled, noticing Gin hanging in the air. At the same time, Feal, Dia, and Tish who knew Gin well also laughed with their heads lowered, gloating over his misfortune.

"What's your full name?" The beauty asked.

"Gin Reyheart. Miss, I really have some unfinished business, just give me a few days." Gin spoke, exhibiting a solemn expression.

The beauty's rosy lips curved a little, into that of a smirk. "You have guts, lying to my face. You are coming with us."
