The setting sun painted the sky with an orange tinge and cast long shadows on the ground.
A large flying-Shuttle streaked across the Northern Wasteland, at a speed not visible to the naked eye. It was a beautiful, 15-meter long, rectangular shuttle that had a beautifully engraved design.
It was simply extravagant inside the shuttle, there are two big rooms, a shower, a cabin at the front to pilot the shuttle, and big space at the back which had twenty-some leather chairs.
There isn't even a need for a pilot, as one just has to specify the direction and speed, the shuttle will navigate autonomously. If the route is blocked or hindered by external elements like trees, birds, or other things, the shuttle will automatically stop.
Just a glance is enough to understand, the shuttle is not of this world. None of the crappy shuttles marketed by the Eternal Flame domain can compare to it.
Gin who sat in one of the leather chairs marveled at the comfort and safety provided by the shuttle.
As for Luna and her sister, they each took a room for themselves and went to freshen up.
There were only three peoples inside the shuttle, Gin, Luna, and her sister. As for the students and teachers of Blue Orchid academy, they didn't follow them and left on their own.
Gin was feeling nervous, he didn't know why the beauty has abducted him against his will.
'Could it be she found out about the Magical space?...No, it's not possible.' Gin mused.
Even Dean Alfin who inspected his body with his energy didn't find anything, much less the beauty who just glanced at him.
"Well...everything will be revealed in due time. I can only wait." Gin sighed.
He rinsed himself in the spare shower, as all the killings and battle made him reek of bad smell. He waited for another 30 mins but there's still no sight of Luna or sister.
Thankfully, Luna soon came out of her room finishing her bath and light make-up. She no longer wore her academy jackets or the combat dress, just a plain blue t-shirt and grey track.
"Luna, I just saved you but your sister has directly taken me captive. Should I be thankful that I wasn't chained?" Gin was vexed. Who would love to be under someone's watch, losing their freedom?
"Yes, you should be grateful." The beauty responded, coming out of the other room.
There was a fresh smile on her lips, she looked as beautiful as before. She changed into a new silver dress, the same traditional-style gown as if she hates wearing modern clothing.
She didn't exude anything, but just looking at her brought a great deal of pressure to Gin. Without his knowledge, the words coming out of his mouth stammered and he couldn't keep his calm.
So he simply shut his mouth and quietly stood like a monk.
It wasn't because of her beauty, it just an innate feeling as if he wasn't looking at a mortal but a being transcended that.
'Is she a transcendent?' Gin had this doubt, but his instincts tell she's not.
As the beauty neared him, the blended smell of sandalwood and royal orchid assaulted his nose—a mysterious fragrance capable of arousing even a wood.
Unknowingly his heartbeat quickened, while Gin chanted in his mind. 'Don't get excited by her charm Gin, nothing can tempt you...nothing can tempt you...'
'I am the master of my heart...' He even chanted some of the movie dialogues he watched during his childhood.
Luna's sister who was as tall as Gin stood before him, just a few inches away and watched him amusingly.
Gin's heart flared, noticing her amusing expression like she was staring at a toy. That's it, he wasn't going to take everything lying down.
"Miss, why did you force me to join your academy?" Gin asked in a calm and bold tone.
Hearing Gin's clear tone, the beauty nodded her head approvingly as if she was testing his response. Her previous alluring demeanor gone, displaced to a neutral expression.
"Luna, go inside. I need to speak with him, alone." The beauty spoke. Luna looked at her sister suspiciously but listened to her and went to her room.
Luna's sister gave a simple smile while her eyes shone in golden light. As soon as her eyes glowed, Gin once again felt the same sensation when he first saw her.
It was like nothing in the world can escape her eyes, he felt naked standing before her. He swiftly used his hands to hide the nether region.
Soon her eyes returned to normal, only then Gin removed his hands. 'I think I covered it pretty fast, she couldn't have seen it right?'
"My eyes are special, they can see through everything and your secrets are like the morning sun in the cloudless sky.
Even though you're weak, you hide a lot of secrets." She spoke in a calm tone.
"I don't understand."
"Still trying to hide, huh. You have a special constitution, the location of your hidden seals is different from normal people. It's my first time witnessing such a thing.
There's also this strange symbol on your chest, even my eyes can't inspect it thoroughly.
Furthermore, you are also a Soul Master little away from reaching the White soul level."
Gin stared at her with his mouth wide open, speechless, 'The hell? Are her eyes an X-ray machine? She virtually saw through everything aside from the magical space.'
"Your little secrets don't interest me but I can't guarantee about others. There are a lot of peoples with special abilities in this world so don't think nobody will find it.
I repaid my sister's favor by inviting you to the academy so that you can be safe until you become stronger.
Of course, that's not all the reason why I saved you. I need a capable and trustworthy person to complete a job for me, I think you fit that position very well." Luna's sister explained.
"I am honored, may I know what kind of job it is?" Gin asked. He could tell she was serious and doesn't hold any kind of malicious thought towards him.
Since she candidly explained everything, his frustration faded a little but not entirely.
He didn't ask some stupid questions like, 'Can't you do it on your own?' If she can, she naturally wouldn't ask a weak person like him.
"You don't have to worry about it now, there's time. You just need to know, you have to reach the peak Seal Opening stage within a year. Only then you are eligible for that job."
"What do I get in return?" Gin openly asked. There's no free lunch in the world, he won't do something for free.
As for reaching the peak Seal opening stage within a year, he has some confidence and the source-stone he got from the middle-aged man will help him achieve that.
"I can guide you in your training and help you discover 11 hidden seals. Since you are a candidate I chose, I will protect you until you complete the task."
He didn't care about her training as he has the confidence of discovering the hidden seals on his own. What he finds tempting is her protection, if someone of her caliber backed him, no one would dare touch him.
He was targeted by the Silver Dragon domain and the old man Mesryth sought to kill him without any second thought, it all because he's weak and doesn't have any background.
A lot happens in a year, for now, his life would be secured with her watching over. Since she already knew most of his secrets, he doesn't mind losing a bit of freedom.
He could tell the reason she exposed his secrets was also for this. It's her way of saying, 'You can trust me.'
Just as Gin was going to accept her deal, Luna's sister waved her hand,
"I need to make something clear, I will only protect you from the Seal Destruction stage practitioners. If some Seal Opening stage practitioners trouble you, you have to handle it on your own.
If you can't even defeat a bunch of low-level cultivators, I don't think you are fit for the job."
"No problem," Gin answered.
With his current strength, he can already combat and defeat a practitioner who 'opened' his 1st hidden seal. If it's some weak practitioner, he can even fight who opened their 2nd hidden seal.
Once he breaks through to the Seal opening stage, he can't imagine how strong he will become.
"You shouldn't tell anyone about our deal, not even to my sister; it has great importance to me." Luna's sister remained.
She wasn't joking when she said that if others come to know what she was aiming for, none would agree and they will do whatever it takes to stop her.
Gin nodded his head.
"We will reach the Starlight domain in two hours and that's where the Blue orchid academy is located. Not just our academy, most of the top academies of the human continent situated in the Starlight Domain.
You can ask Luna if you want to know anything about the Starlight Domain." Luna Sister said and walked towards her room.
"Miss..." Gin called and asked when she glanced at him, "Can I know your name?"
"Reyna...Reyna Moon!"
"Thank you for saving me, Miss Reyna" Gin spoke in a grateful tone.
