In a forest not too far away from the urban areas of South China, a young man could be seen sprinting through it. He was slightly tanned, had short dark blue hair, he was medium height and his body was bloodied and scarred. He was extremely fit as his muscles were very defined but the number of scars on his body showed that they weren't gained easily. His body was shirtless at the moment and the only clothes he wore were a pair of combat pants.
He was currently trailing behind two wounded tigers that were running and limping through the bushes. Earlier, before they spotted him lurking in the bushes, the young man shot them a few times each in their legs with his rifle. At first, there were three of them but the first one had rushed the man after being shot once and he wrestled the tiger to the ground while stabbing it numerous times in its neck with his combat knife.
Cutting back to the current events, the man, who's name was Lang Shen, finally managed to corner the two tigers as they were exhausted and severely injured. But he knew that he couldn't approach them recklessly as a cornered animal had the most dangerous fangs. He drew his combat knife and held it tightly in his grips, his eyes locked on the two animals that were starting to growl louder with each passing moment.
Lang Shen started inching closer and closer to them, gliding his legs over the rough forest floor slowly but cautiously. When he finally got to a range of about 4 feet away from them, one of them decided to finally stop waiting and pounced on him. Lang Shen slid his right foot back and faced the tiger's attack head-on, bracing the tiger's massive body with his own while its jaws tried to latch on to his arms. He gripped the tiger by its neck in a frontal chokehold and started stabbing it mercilessly in its stomach, his almost superhuman body not even moving from its excessive wailing.
The other one decided it was time to stop looking for a chance to pounce and just did it in order to help its mate. It moved towards Lang Shen with incredible speed, baring its fangs and claws as it got closer. Lang Shen released the other tiger out of his hold and delivered a firm roundhouse kick to its stomach, sending it reeling back into the oncoming one. With a loud 'THUD!' the almost dead tiger collided with the other one, causing them both to fall on the ground in pain.
Lang Shen didn't waste any time and bolted up to them, delivering another kick towards severely injured one, sending it crashing into a tree in the vicinity. The tiger that was still closest to him used this opportunity to attack swiftly with its claws. Lang Shen saw this and barely managed to dodge, the creature's claws grazing his chest as he leaned back. Using the opening the tiger caused by attacking with its claws, Lang Shen rushed into the animal once more, and with one powerful slash with his knife across its eyes, it was blinded.
"ROARRRRR!!"
The creature roared in pain and flailed its claws wildly at the loss of its sight, hoping to hit its aggressor so that it could have its revenge. Lang Shen already knew what the animal was up to and waited for another opening. He made sure to move slowly as to not alert its sensitive ears. Lang Shen's eyes followed each swipe of its claws carefully, looking for an opening.
'There!'
The tiger had lunged towards the direction of a tree as if it had heard something there, leaving its back wide open to Lang Shen. The man moved quickly and arrived next to the tiger, slashing at it a few times before the creature managed to turn around. It had heard him coming and jumped in the direction of the sound, but Lang Shen again used that to his advantage, this time sweeping the tiger off of its legs. As soon as it hit the ground, Lang Shen jumped on it and with a massive grin on his face, he started stabbing its vital points mercilessly.
It wanted to throw him off but he leaned down on its neck with his elbow, locking its movements down with his powerful body. It wasn't long until the tiger eventually stopped moving, causing Lang Shen to smile in glee. He made sure it was dead then picked it up and put it on his shoulder. He went to the other one that was now dead on a tree and put that on his shoulder too, walking back the way he came.
A short while later, Lang Shen got to the first tiger he killed. That's also where most of his equipment was located. He threw the two tigers off of his shoulder close to the first one and picked up a long thick rope. The man walked towards them, tied all of them together, put the rope over his shoulder, and pulled them away from that location. He picked up his gun as he left, smiling happily as he thought about the fresh tiger meat that would last him for a few days. His face was calm as his cabin came into view after a few minutes of walking. His smile slowly started to fade and was replaced by a serious expression as he thought, 'Now that I have food taken care of, I have to make some money. It's a good thing Luo Jie invited me to the underground arena, but I wonder how much they make down there. It's a life or death fight so a 22-year-old criminal like myself should fit in perfectly.'
