I woke up to the dawn through the window. The sunlight hit my eyes and I opened them, realizing that Silvera was no longer in my arms. I sat up and looked around the room, but no one was there. "Silvera?" I turned and my feet touched the cold floor as I started to dress. 'Where is that girl?' I thought to myself. I looked out the window at the sunrise. 'She has a bad habit of waking up too early.'
I stood up and left the room, wondering if she had already gone to breakfast. 'Pity. I wanted to see her wake up next to me. She's so cute when she wakes up.' I walked to the dining hall and opened the door, but to my surprise, she was nowhere to be seen. I started to get anxious and searched every room in the castle looking for her, but I had no such luck finding her. And none of my servants had seen her as well.
Despite my emotionless face, I felt worried, not knowing what happened to her. 'Where could she have gone?' I made my way down the stairs and out the side door to see if she had taken Bruzey for a ride. 'If she did, she would be in so much trouble. How careless is she that she can't follow a simple ord-' I immediately froze at the sight of a black and white horse, resting peacefully in the stables.
Shocked, I stepped back. "Then where-?" I took another step back and stepped on some sort of sand. I looked down and saw sparkling green powder or substance, and kneeled to get a closer look. I picked it up and let it fall in between my fingers. "Looks like debris from a celestial orb, who would-?" I cut myself off by the sound of my own words and my eyes opened wide. "Silvera! No!"
I quickly ran back inside and found my general behind the castle. He seemed surprised at my arrival. "Y-Your Highness! Is there anything I-?" I quickly said what I needed before he could finish his sentence. "My human has been taken. I want every demon in the entire underworld looking for her, and I will not rest until she is found!"

I could only see black even after I opened my eyes, and everything was a blur. I could feel cold metal under me and voices far enough so that I couldn't make out what they were saying. I started to sit up but realized that I was incredibly weak. I shook as I pushed myself to sit up. My vision became clearer and I saw that I was in a dark room that looked like a dungeon, only lit by candlelight. I was inside a large iron cage, surrounded by other empty cages.
I could feel a chill and fear crept up and down my spine. 'Where am I?' I thought as I shivered. I could see my breath through the cold air as an uncontrollable urge to cry came to my throat. But before I could, the sound of footsteps came down the stairs from the hallway in front of me. Three demons came from around the corner and started to walk toward me. Two of them appeared human-like Sython. One had blood-red hair and red eyes, and the other with black hair and orange eyes. But both of them still had demonic features like horns, wings, and tails.
The third had the head of a dragon and looked like a centaur, but instead of a horse, his bottom half was a centipede. I became more tense as they got closer, their similes as sharp as daggers. They stopped in front of the cage, and the demon with the dark hair laughed. "Well, look who woke up." I shook with fear, unable to speak when the demon with the red hair leaned on the cage and licked his lips. "They weren't kidding when they said this one had the soul of a goddess. But they never mentioned that she had the body of one too."
The centaur crossed his arms. "Just imagine how much a fallen angel would pay for this." My eyes widened. 'A fallen angel? The demons of the higher realm, with wings faded grey for their sins. They're so rare and homicidal, if I was sold to one, there would be no telling what they would do to me!!' I was trying to hold back the tears so hard that I didn't realize that the demon with the red hair was still staring at me.
Despite the crazy look in his eyes, He wasn't unattractive. He wore gothic clothes and silver earrings on his upper ears, kind of like Sython. But as soon as our eyes met he smiled like evil itself. "I'm sure there's a lot of money in selling her. But don't be too hasty and take the first offer that comes around." The others smiled and the demon with black hair and orange eyes turned to him. "I wouldn't dream of it. Want some quality time with our new prisoner, Dagger?" He tilted his head. "Of course. With that body, I can't resist."
I felt more fear than I ever had in my life, hearing him say those words. 'I'd rather have Sython scare the crap out of me hundreds of times before I'd let a stranger feel me up!' I backed away quickly until my back hit the wall. Dagger's smile went away even though he seemed even more amused with my fear as the other two demons left without another word. I waited in silence as he continued to stare at me.
I shook and forced my head to turn away from him. Suddenly, I heard a clank and looked back to see that Dagger was now in the cage with me, closing the door behind him and putting the keys in his pocket. "You're on a very strong drug and it's most likely that the effects haven't worn off yet, so getting you to cooperate will be nothing short of easy." He smiled again and started to walk towards me. "That is quite convenient for me because, with a soul like yours, I would want to take my time with you."
I gasped and I couldn't feel anything but pins and needles in my legs as he forced me to the floor of the cage, grabbing my wrists. 'Wait, does he know about the other ways to enjoy a soul? Man, he's sick!' I thought as I tried to struggle through the pain. "Let me go, you horrible person!" He started to laugh as he climbed on top of me. "How cute! Even your insults are soft!" He got closer to me and I stopped trying to struggle.
'There's no point in trying to fight back. He's too strong, and I am still as weak as a petal. I can't even begin to describe how much that pisses me off! Maybe I should just get it over with and accept my fate.' But saying that in my head was way less scary than actually going through with it. As he got even closer, I felt my heart pound out of my chest, and blush rush to my cheeks. His lips were about to touch mine when a huge bang came from the other side of the room.
