After the meeting ended, everyone went off to do their own things. Fishy and Ziu went off to train, whereas Silmor continued construction around the evergrowing city. But, Clara and Tin were joined by several kids. Not only did they have to look after Tin's triplets, Tim, Tom and Tam, but they were also joined by the two outsiders, Robin and Callie. The 7 of them were invited to an open-air bath that was soon to be opened to the public. At the drop of the sun, with the candles resting on the rocks that trapped the steaming water, they all gently stepped into the bliss whilst keeping fanservice to as little as possible.
"I don't feel comfortable being naked around these three…" Robin said as she used the water to hide her body, whilst her sister, Callie, hid behind her. The two of them stared at the triplets who weren't even paying attention to them.
"Don't worry about them, they have a mental age of 3 years old combined." Tin insulted her own children. "They'll probably splash about in the other bath on the other side whilst we can relax here."
The bath was split into a male and female side, separated by a large brick wall. Obviously, they were currently in the female bath, but there was a small door connecting the two just in case of emergencies, but that was only allowed to be opened by staff.
Tin rested her back against one of the rough rocks and was joined by Clara who's smooth pale body was quickly melting into the water.
"This is surprisingly nice…" She said to herself.
"It truly is…"
"Was this that pervert's idea?" Robin didn't go near Clara or Tin and instead sat at the other end of the bath, shouting across. "I bet he is spying somewhere just to see our naked bodies."
"Of course it was the pervert's idea. All this stuff he's been doing lately just to see our naked bodies." Clara continued to speak about her boss in a harsh manner, having no real reason to stop. "From what I understand, he's into slender beauties with average-sized breasts or possibly even developing ones. Truly a pervert."
Tin gently turned her head and smiled at Clara who seemed to fit that description, and said,
"Ah, young love. What I would give to feel like that again. How courageous the youth have become acting all mean around the one they love."
"HA!" Robin and Clara both burst out laughing in disgust.
"How can I love someone I just met?"
"I do NOT like Fishy!" Clara stood up, the hot spring water splashing all over Tin's still laughing face. When Clara realised she was out of the water, she quickly splashed back down into it, with her blushing face combining into her pink hair that floated on the water's surface.
"I'd happily kill him If he wasn't stupidly strong!" She exclaimed, hoping Fishy was around to hear it.
"He is the best mage I've ever seen or even heard off…" Tin agreed.
The bath went silent with the sound of the triplets splashing about, on the other side, to break it. At some point during the conversation of love, Callie, who normally ignored all the words around her, suddenly became interested and swam closer to speak to the others for the first time.
"What… how strong is Fishy?" She asked through her hands that covered her blushing face.
"Callie, don't…"
Robin tried to interject but Tin and Clara were already talking.
"He must be the strongest person I've ever met." Clara spoke first, "He may seem unreliable and weak on the outside and he may not know how to understand his powers, but he improves so quickly. His determination is something I can't get behind. He's been pushed down before and I've seen what I assume is his worst, but he just changes and jumps right back."
"I think he's impressive. I don't know where he came from but he possesses so much wisdom and courage. He's helped us for no reason and has shown us all that he will keep doing so for our gain and not his. How can someone who shares my taste in beer be a bad person?"
Tin's speech was a bit stranger to the kids who weren't old enough to drink alcohol, but Clara seemed to have given Callie the answer that satisfied her.
"I see…" She turned to her sister, "Do you think he can stop our dad…"
"Anyway…" Robin interjected, ignoring her sister who sank into the water behind her, "How did you meet him?"
"Well, one day he just showed up in a crater created by a hand golem. He blew it into a million pieces and just kinda stayed with us since."
Clara continued to speak about her boss, unknowing to the smile that had appeared on her face.
"We were never like this. We were destined to die but he came alone. He protected us from the destroyer nest underneath. Built farms and even hunted cowsaurs for us. He found a swordsman to train the villagers and even inspired the entire village to host a festival. I was the most active member of the village. I was doing everything I could for a 20-year old. I tried to fix the village as much as possible, but nothing worked. I thought it was all over, but he showed me how wrong I was. He came along like an angel and saved us all from dying a painful death. He's truly amazing."
"Aw, young love" Tin's brown eyes were in full romance mode, wanting to scope out every last bit of detail from Clara who continued to deny her feelings for Fishy, retreating to the water as she completely submerged herself, hoping for a peaceful watery death.
"Come on, Clara… I just want to have some girl talk for once."
"I'm only 16…" Robin's face also joined Clara's by turning the same shade of red. "I don't know anything about love."
"AW SO CUTE!" Tin swam over and started crushing the fair-skinned girl who was trying to keep Tin at arm's distance.
"Stop it! What are you doing!"
Whilst Robin tried to remove the leech from her, she didn't notice her tiny sister laughing at her sister's embarrassment whilst her dark hair swam across the water.
They continued to laugh and mess about for some time. They never dropped their faces once and started to splash around with each other. As the moon was directly above them, and the sound of flickering candle flames danced around the open air, they all lent back into the rocks.
"Fishy comes up with some amazing ideas… This bath is only one of them…"
"I guess… I guess I should apologise to him." Robin stood up to get out the bath, quickly joined by Callie who followed behind.
"Callie," Robin turned around to her sister and smiled as calmly as possible, "you should take Tin's offer and bake with her tomorrow. I'm sure you'll love it!" Callie nodded her head as if it was going to spring off, her eyes widening with her smile.
The two of them walked out the bath and stepped over the sleeping triplets who were passed out naked on the side. They got changed into the clothes given to them by Clara and retreated into the house that Fishy prepared for them. Compared to how they normally slept, it was luxury. The bedding was clean and the mattress was softer than a marshmallow. For the two that always slept on restless beds, it was too much of a change. But, their usual fears of being attacked at night were gone, as they had no reason to fear anything.
They had only spent a day in the city and as Robin watched her sister quickly and quietly fall asleep next to her, she could see how quickly she was getting attached to everything, something that she knew was only going to cause problems.
