(before Ying woke up)

"Boss, we found all the information about Ms. Li Xiu Ying. Would you like me to email them to you?" Assistant Wu asked
"Yes, just email it to me." Yang hung up. '*sob sob* why can't you be a little less cold Boss' Wu thought
Yang then checked his email. Immediately after receiving the email, he started reading his 'love's' information. He skipped the basic information because they knew each other from their childhood and he's still Yu's best friend. Half way reading it, he muttered "F*ck" He started thinking 'Sh*t, when did Ying ever date that b*st*rd and how dare he break up with my love, but then again I should thank him because now I have no obstacles to have her as my girlfriend'
After he left his villa and arrived at his 60 story building. He went to his office which accommodated a third of the 60th floor leaving the rest of the room for his assistant and secretaries.
- in Ying's room -
Ying woke up to the sunlight shining on her face. 'How did I get here...oh right, Yang brought me over, he must've brought me to my room. Well, I'll go to his villa later and thank him.' Ying thought while getting up to go to the bathroom.
After getting ready, she went to her walk in closet to choose her outfit of the day. Since she models at times, she has a good fashion sense. She put on a pair of jeans, belt, and a off the shoulder sweater with the front tucked in but leaving the rest untucked. She is a natural beauty and she knows it which makes her lucky since she doesn't need to put on makeup and only organic face products (face cream, moisturizer, etc).
Later her phone rang and to her disdain it was her jerk of an ex-boyfriend, Zhao Feng. 'I must have been blind to date that b*st*rd, Yang isn't my boyfriend but treats me better than him and not like some maid who he can steal money from' Ying thought. At first she wanted to decline the call but then a flash of amusement flashed in her eyes and she decided to see what that b*tch of an ex-boyfriend wanted.
"Hello, Li Xiu Ying speaking" Ying said in her business tone acting as if she didn't know who's calling.*
"Ying why the hell have you never dressed up before like at the gala yesterday for me?! I wouldn't have broken up before if you had made yourself that beautiful for me before and would have treated you nicer!"
Zhao Feng roared in phone
"So you're telling me that before you dated me because in your eyes I was decently pretty but not enough for you to have the audacity to hurt me but if I had tried to make myself more pretty than you would've treated me better?" Ying asked in a bored tone with a hint of hurt that Feng didn't catch
"Of course!" Feng responded annoyingly. "Wow, Mr.Zhao, never knew you were such a playboy. Well since you decided to go all lengths, then I will spare no more mercy on you. Let's see how you act after I send a death warrant to your company today." Ying said in a cold and ruthless voice. Ying knows that her company is number 2 in the world (right under Wang's) because of her hard work and dedication as Li's use to only rank in the top 20 in the business world.
"W..wait, Xiu'er please don't I'm-I'm" Feng stuttered but Ying cut him off "haha, no way Mr. Zhao, you've offended me so many times before but now you'll see my wrath" and then Ying cut off the call.
Ying then called her assistant Zhang Yu Yan, "Yu Yan, sent out a message that anyone who works or helps Zhao Entertainment will not be able to work with Li Empire and blacklist Zhao Feng from our company as well." Ying told her. "Right away Ms.Li" and then Ying ended the call.
'I wonder what Zhao Entertainment did to boss to make her send a death warrant to that company since we don't really work in the entertainment industry to much' Yan thought 'Oh well, guess I can't be with my boyfriend *sob sob* boss why always call when I want to spend time with my love one'
"Well I better go to work now" Ying muttered and then went to the kitchen to grab an apple before driving her Mercedes to her 55 story building.
- back at Yang's office -
"CEO Wang, here is your schedule today" Assistant Wu sais while handing Yang a tablet.
"Ok thank you" Yang said in his normal monotone voice. If anyone heard the way Yang spoke to Ying they would've thought they were dreaming because their boss is usually very cold to people especially women.
While Yang was reviewing his schedule, in his subconscious he was thinking of Ying and getting excited to meet her again soon even though it is for a meeting between a new software they are making. "Assistant Wu, make sure that Li Empire's CEO goes to this meeting as well" Yang told Min-Jun Wu**
"Right away CEO Wang" Assistant Wu said while silently crying with no tears coming out since he heard that CEO Li could be stubborn and might not want to attend '*sob sob* why are you always cold and demanding boss, guess I better try and hope she comes' (Even though she said she come, Yang knows that there's a possibility that she decides that she has something else to do first and since that happens on occasions, she'd send her Vice President in her place)

*= She did not save Feng's phone number anymore but she still knew the number since he still left a scar in her heart since they dated for about 2 years before he broke up with her and since she has photographic memory she remembered his number, and she never expected that he would call her again so she didn't block his number because before she had a tiny hope left until she met Yang who she is falling for
**= Yes, I made Yang's assistant Korean-Chinese by giving him a Korean name but a Chinese surname (I know the surname can also be in Korean but for now its Chinese) because I wanted a Korean character in my book just because why not haha and btw both Ying and Yangs assistants are around late twenties early thirties (Yan being 29 and Min-Jun 32)
Also, so Yan (Ying's assistant) is an average looking girl but her face reminds people of an innocent uni student but has seen "things" and both Ying and Yan don't like perfume so they have natural "scent" while Min-Jun is lean, skinny side and average height who's smart and wears gold rimmed glassed. Three of them are in black belt of martial arts, taekwondo, judo, askido, etc. except for Yan as she only knows karate.
