as they got closer to the flickering red light. the land below them getting shallower. The electricity doesn't spread to these area so the street lights down below were off.
but still the sea were very clear. she could still see through.
Mr. whale were very careful to not bump onto building below it seems.
and they arrived. the island? no more like a mountain. former mountain?
it stopped when it's impossible for its body to fit in.
with a jump she's went back into the water.
"thank you for your help Mr. whale."
"really... thank you."
it didn't even bat an eyelid to her. the moment she jumped, it already moved to go into the sea.
but she indeed got a response. If the water that blows from its top count that is.

with a little effort she managed to get into the street.
yes a street that connects the city below to the mountain.
the ground were very slippery though. Ren almost fell because of it.

she didn't feel hungry for some reason.
but then again. she grabbed the street pole that has "stop" sign and looked at the distance.
just sea. with electric pole poking out of the water.

feeling gloomy. she then felt something brushed into her hair.
it was a rock. how she confirmed it? sound of course.
then she looked at the culprit far away from her.
"Ryuu! go get the others! I hold her back here!"
"Oi! don't throw rocks at random stranger!"
with that the one who threw rock at Ren got smacked right in the head.
the older one seems sensible at least.
"there's no sound of a ship."
