"What the hell??!!!" she whisper yelled to herself as her eyes roamed over her upper arm.
"Whoaa.." she laughed humourlessly. "What the freaking heck is going on???" she blurted out, frustrated. As she look at her left arm, again she saw black ink covered her smooth skin.
This time, a wolf head that is similar to Xandro's, but only half. Another half of the head is a tiger's. She sighed when she realised she won't find the answer just by staring at it. She ran her hand through her hair as she huffed.
"Whatever."
She continued with what she was doing which is bathing. When she's done, she got out of the bathroom with her black bathrobe. As she was dressing herself up, something nudged her toes, tickling her. She laughed as she looked down.
With eyebrow raised, she said, "Oh! You guys! Hello, buddies. Whatcha doin'?" she crouched down, "Excited to go out? Patient, guys. Let me grab my purse first." she got up after petting her pets. The ones that she found in the woods a couple days ago.
She walked out of her bedroom, snatched her purse and went to the apartment door. "Come on, buddies."she said as she walked out from her shared apartment. The little animals tagging along as she walked to the elevator.
The kittens and puppies were so disciplined. After a day, they managed to pee and shit in the toilet and that was amazing. As if they have a brilliant mind, they actually listened to her without any fault. She had once taken them out before, and surprisingly they behaved like a trained animal. Followed her everywhere and behaving well.
As she not yet buy leashes for her little buddies, so she decided to bring them out without that little thing. Somehow,her instinct tell her she can trust them and she decided to follow her heart. As the elevator tinged and opened, her little animals quickly rushed in. See? What she means by trust? The little guys definitely know what to do.
She smiled to herself as she too entered the elevator. No one was there, only she and the little guys. The elevator stopped at the third floor, and a guy in his mid twenties came in. As if sensing danger, one of her puppies barked at the man.
The man was shocked as he stared at the pup begrudgingly. Daniella shushed her pup, trying to coax him to calm down, "Ares, down boy. Everything's alright." she came down to pat the ocean blue eyed Siberian Husky pup. Ares calmed down, as he rooted to his ground.
He still eyeing the only guy in the elevator, as if protecting his master. Daniella looked down at him, and internally thanking the God for giving her such cute dog.
After her third day with that little guy, she came to realize that Ares, as she named, is the most aggressive one among the others.
His brilliant ocean eyes look brave, as the grey fur beside each eyes was shaped to look as if he furrowed his brows. Among the other guys, he looks grumpy but at the same time cute. With his little paws and tiny figure, he tried to look intimidating but instead he looks so damn cute.
Her first day with the little animals, she already giving them names. All of the pups were Siberian Husky, but with different fur colour. The one with the name Axel was the most cool one. He never too energetic as the others. He looks matured and calm the whole time. With his pair of ice blue eyes, he looks cold and full of authority. The black rings that circle each of his eyes differentiate him with the others.
Blanco on the other hand was the opposite of Ares. With his full black eyes and snow white fur, he was gentle and definitely not aggressive. He the most obedient one.
Ace and Ash are the ones that we call a pair. They always together and always energetic. But when one of them gone, the other one will be so much quite, as if his partner in crime was absent, and he can't do anything without him. Ash was a grey and white Siberian Husky, and Ace was a black and white one. The only similarity among the pups is, they all are so damn cute!
The kittens wasn't less their cuteness, and their furs all so soft and smooth. King is a cream colour kitten. He somehow is more senior than the rest. His action screamed power, and the shining sliver eyes look cool.
Flaxen is an orange colour kitten. He was energetic and he shows it. Mephisto is a black one. He looks quite, but secretly he was cunning. There was once, Daniella caught him scratching and ripping her sock. Frosty the snow white kitten is gentle and soft. And Amber the last one looks beautiful with his hazel eyes. His brown fur look brilliant.
As Xiu Ying looked at her pets lovingly, the man on the other hand looked away after he met eyes with the one she called Ares. He wiped out his earlier bad thoughts about Daniella. Shiver ran down his spine when he feels numerous pair of eyes trained on him before.Cold sweat starting to break on his forehead as he finally realize the eyes that he felt were the eyes of the little animals. His mind certainly told him that the beautiful girl in front of him is not the one he could afford to mess with.
Unbeknownst to Daniella, her pets have save her from another danger that was coming for her.

"I've got it! I've got it! You guys wanna go there, right? Wait a moment, I need to pick this up." Daniella said as she slip her hand into her pants pocket, reaching for the ringing phone.
As she slids the answer button, she steal a glance towards her excited pets before answering the phone.".... "
She didn't say anything, just letting the other party to speak first.
"Xav, you've gotta go home now. Quick! Dragon's men coming for you!" Daniel's panicked voice greeted her.
"Oh? It's just Dragon clan, right? What's the rush for? They never got us anyway." she spoke calmly.
"You don't understand! It's..." he paused, in a war with his brain before he decided to just told her the truth, "Noah! Noah's with them!" he blurted out.
Noah? He's here? Could my day get any worse?!! She frustratedly screamed innerly. She feels trouble. And only one man that could make such an impact on her. But now, she no longer the weak hearted Daniella Ramirez, she was an empress, and such thing won't effect her badly.
Absentmindedly, her grip on her phone became tighter as that single name uttered by her brother. But before she could speak anything, her words cut off the moment she heard that bewitching voice.
"Xavia?"
She turned to find a pair of golden eyes staring back at her.
Wow, her day could get worse, indeed.
