Xiao Ling's ears turned red and he slightly lowered his gaze. "It is nothing." He answered as he took a step back.
Xiao Bao felt disappointed as his hands suddenly became empty after xiao Ling moved away from him. But, in order not to make xiao Ling angry, he suppressed his emotions. "Where are sect leader Xie and elder Fan?" He asked, changing the topic. He and Fei Yinzi didn't see anyone around when they arrived in the Xinfaxian Sect.
Xiao Ling, upon hearing xiao Bao's question, sighed in relief. He could see that there seemed to be something… subtle between the two earlier. And so with the change of topic, he felt relieved. Not that he hates xiao Bao. But that, he felt awkward.
Xiao Ling inwardly sighed. He had to sort out his emotions, towards xiao Bao, fast. "Sect leader Xie and elder Fan are refining elder Jing Cheng's sword." He answered.
