As Ziel stood in front of the fork, he silently breathed.
'I was going to take it slowly, but now I gotta finish it faster,' he silently muttered.
[Inventory]
A 3D holographic projection appeared in front of him.
'Unequip all on body.'
'Equip Body suit, Glock 19 X-1, Ammo, EMP grenades, Plasma blade.'
A bright light enveloped Ziel.
His adventurer's garb was replaced by a black bodysuit.
Two Glock 19 X-1 pistols attached to his waist.
Six EMP grenades attached to his belt and finally, a thin, one-meter long sword appeared attached to his back.
He took a little black cube the size of dice in his hand.
'Henson.'
The cube in his hand began to float and started spinning at a terrifying rate.
Soon it became a Fox mask.
The mask was entirely white with red triangular markings on both sides of the mask. There was only an eyehole on the left side of the mask. The red markings on both sides gave off an eerie vibe.
Ziel silently put the mask on his face. His left eye flashed with extreme killing intent.
'Time to kill.'
Kill count: 7
Ziel advanced to the left side of the fork.
After walking for half a minute or so he saw two Kobold guards coming at his direction.
He quickly hid in the shadows attached the silencers to his pistols and then shot them both in the head.
Kill count: 9
After he hid the bodies in the darkness he went further.
When he reached the deepest part he had already killed more 18 Kobolds.
Kill count: 18.
It was wide, really wide. Filled with at least more or less 20 Kobolds.
At the end of the cave was a big and muscular figure with shining red skin.
'Analyze.'
Name: Kobold lord 'Irfan'
Class: Lord
Weapon: ???
Skill: [Burst attack] [Night shade] [Madness]
'A lord class Kobold, huh? No wonder that old man almost died.'
Seeing Ziel standing at the entrance, Irfan howled and ordered his minions to attack Ziel.
'I still have 30 bullets,' Ziel thought to himself.
Holding a Glock 19 X-1 in his right hand he shouted,
'Time to go crazy.'
Without wasting any time, he took an EMP grenade and threw it towards the horde.
BOOM!!
Upon impact the grenade launched an EMP within 3 meters of its radius, stopping all the Kobolds on their path, by stopping their limbs.
Ziel fired seven times, which resulted in seven deaths.
Kill count: 25
The rest of them lunged at Ziel.
[Eye of Spettatore]
Ziel's left eye pupil turned even redder. The environment around him seemed to freeze. As if time had stopped.
In truth, time did not stop, it didn't turn slow either. Time was flowing at a normal pace as always.
It was just that his left eye and brain was processing things that happened around him 100 times faster than normal.
Ziel fired again, killing 5 more.
Kill count: 30.
Ziel used an EMP grenade again.
this time, he shot two times at the horde, each bullet created a bloody gaping hole in the three unfortunate Kobolds.
Kill count: 33.
But there was a lot more to come. Just as he finished his second shot a Kobold attacked from his right and just as he was about to dodge that another one attacked him from the left.
Now he was in a tight spot.
Seeing no other way, Ziel jumped and using the walls of the cave he secured himself a relatively safe position and began shooting again.
BANG! BANG!! BANG!!!
Kill Count: 36
While he caught his breath Irfan still hadn't moved from its place, it was waiting for the last of its minions to finish the measly human.
Ziel fired four shots killing the remaining four Kobolds.
Kill count: 40.
Seeing its last minion die the Irfan bellowed. It's monstrous roar echoing in the depths of the cave.
A violent aura surrounded Irfan's body making his power surge.
