A violent aura surrounded Irfan's body making his power surge.
Irfan's shining red skin turned a deeper shade of red, his veins popped out and his muscles bulged. In his eyes, there was a clear trace of malice.
Giving an earsplitting roar, Irfan lunged at Ziel holding a gigantic iron axe. The axe was as tall as Ziel.
'What strength! It's waving that thing as if it was a feather duster!'
Ziel thought as he dodged the attack from Irfan.
But that dodging made Irfan even angrier.
'HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!"
All of a sudden Irfan's speed doubled and so did his strength.
'What the hell? Its power increased?'
But, Irfan still couldn't catch up to Ziel. It was a big monster, so it had limited space to move in compared to Ziel, who was much smaller.
'Okay, big guy. Its time you stop.'
Saying this Ziel changed his direction and dived at Irfan with the Plasma blade in his hand.
A blue light wrapped up the blade.
Irfan struck at the advancing Ziel using his axe. Ziel, dodging the attack slashed his blade at Irfan's left leg.
'HREEEEEEEEE!!'
Irfan howled in pain as his left leg was lopped off. But Ziel did not stop there. He sliced Irfans right arm off as it was holding the weapon with its right arm.
Irfan's body fell with a loud thud.
He was still alive. His red skin turned even red as he was soaked by his blood. Howling at Ziel with malice.
It tried to get up but failed.
Ziel looked at the monster in front of him and said in a cold voice.
'Where is your master?'
The look of malice in Irfan's face was replaced by fear. Fear of something far more powerful than itself.
'Oh, I forgot that you can't talk. Well, then bye-bee. '
Without another word, Ziel's blade flashed. Irfan's head was lopped off staining the already bloody floor with even more blood.
But Ziel felt as if something was strange.
But before he could think of anything a beam of light went through his abdomen making a hole the diameter of a bottle cap.
Ziel coughed up blood. Barely restraining himself from falling.
Blood was coming out of his abdomen continuously.
He looked at the figure who attacked him.
A male figure was standing before him.
He had sharp blue eyes and good facial futures. His hair was brown and short.
The man in front of him was wearing a dark grey robe with the insignia of the legionaries. His hand was holding onto an open book, a grimoire.
The man was giving off a mocking smile.
He sneered at Ziel and said, ' You beat my pet, but you are still too weak to go against us.'
'Is that so?' Ziel said.
'Die.'
The man in front of Ziel pointed his finger at him. A beam of light shot out of it, penetrating Ziel's head, leaving a bloody hole.
Ziel body fell on the ground, completely lifeless.
The man in the robe didn't spare another glance at the dead bodies, he was busy.
He came here to get the sacrificial maiden for the ritual.
He went to the other room in the cave. He was overjoyed to see the girl still alive.
'To think she was able to go through the baptism! She is the one we truly need.'
But before he could touch her he was blocked by the barrier Ziel put on the girl.
He took out his grimoire and started chanting magic on the barrier.
But, never in his wildest thoughts, the man in the robe would expect that in the empty cave, a monster had awoken.
