Rain. I used to love it, it was my favorite.

Sitting beside the window, watching over the droplets of tears from the sky sliding down into the glass on the outside.

Dark and light crashes from above. I could hear the thunder's wrath but I listen to it as if it's a strong conviction. The cool breeze caress my skin, sending shivers throughout my body. I wrap myself as I hug my knees, rocking back and forth on the fluffy sofa I was sitting on.

A tap from my shoulder halted me. As I glance, a sweet smile flashed in my eyes. I couldn't help, as a curve on my lips ascend.

Never would I forget the most beautiful woman I have ever saw in my life.

Her pristine green eyes that compliments her long dark hazelnut hair, soft and rosy lips transforming her smile even more beautiful, with her light fair skin- making her glow. She's stunning even in her age of 40. What beauty could she be more in her younger years. Oh, how I wish I could be as beautiful as my mother was.

She sat besides me and embraced me with the warmth of her hug. I could smell her sweet vanilla perfume that resembles the aroma of her favorite coffee resting on the table beside. The smoke coming from it dances like a spirit alluring me. Now my heart's rejoicing for the moment I am experiencing. Just how I wish it would not end.

Everything is warm. It is soothing, it is calming, it is comforting but everything, everything...

Was...

All..

Just...

A...

Memory.

The roar of thunder awoken me into reality. I found myself laying on the floor and for a moment I felt like my body is scorching from pain. I could taste the liquid of rust in my mouth. I tried to stand but it only lead up spinning my head. I held my head still out of dizziness but a strange sensation about something I touched jolted me.

I tremble as I lower down my hands to examine what could it be. But it was dark and only the flickers of lightning outside has been my source of light. I focused on my hands and the more I see, the more tense I become.

It was blood!

My heart was pounding in fear. I step back and got stumbled by something. My fear resides but it was replaced by terror. It was not something, it was someone!!

I screamed and my body was shaking. It is a woman by the look of the slim figure and the dress it wears.

"A-are you alright?" I stuttered in terror as I spoke.

.

.

.

Silence. There were no answer.

I came closer to the woman but my insides churn and I throw up with the scene I just saw. Her head was completely distorted, like it was battered multiple times out of great grudge.

I hurriedly ran struggling to find a door for a way out. Trembling, shaking, terrified I finally got out in the room. As soon as I got out, the latter I realized I must be in some kind of mansion because of its enourmous space. I didn't even know where should I go that would lead a way out. I decided to rest for a moment and calm myself first.

A lot of questions were raised in my head. Where am I?

What happened?

Why is there a dead person in that room?

Who could have killed her?

Is the killer still in the house?

Is there someone else here aside from me? Why can't I remember a thing before all of this??

My head began to ache and I found my self sobbing. I felt helpless wishing all of this is just a bad dream. "Wake up, wake up this is just a nightmare!" I repeatedly chant to myself. But no matter how much I close my eyes and condition myself to wake up, I remained still in the corner vulnerably weeping. It was then it finally sink in to me.

This is all real.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.

Wake up!

I opened my eyes and composed myself together. In this kind of situation I should not let myself be overpowered with emotion. Mind over matter, I need to survive.

I started walking. I saw a lamp along the hallway and brought it along with me. After a couple of walk I found myself in the dining hall. I found another door and was about to open it, when I heard a man's voice. I startled and lost my balance.

"Is someone there? Please help me I beg you. I'm bleeding".

Hesitant but I stand up and began to trace the direction of the voice. I saw a shadow of a man sitting in the corner. As I came closer, the lamp pave a clearer view of the man. He was covered in blood all over his body.

"Thank goodness I am saved, please help me someone is trying to kill me" the man said as he covered his eyes against the brightness of the lamp.

As his eyes finally fixated in the light, his face was exposed.

He was smiling at me.

A strange feeling ignited within my senses. I looked at him again but his expression changed.

He was now frightened like he saw a ghost.

"Well, well, well look like you survived after all. You're a tough one. Haha I like that". A woman with a gleeful personality said.

"No, no, no please don't kill me". The man pleads with his life and started to sob. "Take one more step closer and I'll call the police! I'll Sue you for this!". The man shouted firmly.

"Sue? For what charges you say?" A firm voice of a professional woman said. "You can't even move with that fracture on your left leg. Even if you do so, you'll die in any moment for loss of blood". She added.

"What? what's happening. Who are you?!! Stop playing games with me!".

A childish voice answered the man. "Games? oh pick me, pick me, pick me".

Shocked and confused was all there is for the man.

"You are a crazy bitch. You're a pathetic whore. You are crazy! Help, somebody help me!!!!" The man tried to crawl away but a woman stepped his wounded foot.

"Ahhhhhh. Dammit, stop it let me go!". The man muster all the voice he had as he shouted. This time a woman punched the man in the face.

"How dare you shout to a woman like that. Is that how you think a man should act?!" She then throws another punch. The man cough and started to spit blood. He was now brutally bleeding.

"Oh man look at you, you're like a smashed tomato hahahaha".

He was helpless and almost lifeless. He was too weak, he knows he is dying.

"Aww, how cute you look struggling to live. Since I'm the nicest person in here, I'll end your misery". She pause for a moment and gave a devilish grin.

"And that mister is of course by means of death. Hahaha".

The man stiffed for what he have heard.

"Please, no...please". He pleads even in his weak voice.

"Tsk tsk, you are actually my favorite one but... nahh it's bye bye hahaha".

She pick up the knife she saw on the dining table but as soon as the woman approached, the man stabbed the woman with a piece of broken glass with all the strength left in him.

Splat. The crimson red liquid started to drip.

Deep breath. Deep breath. Deep breath

Everything astounded me. My knees felt weak with the sight I had in front of me.

"W-hat's h-hapen-ning?"

I couldn't take it anymore. My head was again devoured in an endless reel.

"Enough..."

Then everything went black.
