Reese's sensitive sense of smell woke her unconscious self. The smell of blood lingering around Reese made her wake up, like something was electrifying her body to wake up.
Reese tried to crouch up, but her body won't allow her to do it. She feels weak and all Reese could think was to finish her thirst, she has to feed herself something she desires.
Without even noticing the person beside her, Reese took the cup the person was offering her and Reese knew that the offering was something Reese needed.
As Reese drank the cup, she felt more alive -- she felt like her body was given too much energy to the point she won't get over drinking the blood the person offered her.
Reese licked the side of her lip before she faced the anonymous person beside her.
The person beside her was wearing something Butler Mo would absolutely wear everyday. She realized that she was in an unfamiliar place, even the smell of the surrounding was something Reese was not familiar with.
She looked around the place and she then concluded that she's inside a small hut, the smell of the wood burning coming from the wood burning fireplace that could keep the place warm.
Without showing any kind of emotion, Reese faced the person beside her and asked him the usual question that was supposed to be asked when she's somewhere she's not familiar with.
"Where am I?" Reese said in a cold manner.
Reese could remember that she was running away from the cops when she was admitted at the hospital, leaving the things she heard and witnessed behind. Reese ran away to save herself from those cruel people.
"Have you realized who you are, young lady?"
Reese was startled to hear him answer her, but the answer he gave Reese was something Reese does not want to hear.
Reese looked at the butler-looking man and she stood up looking at him straight in the eyes.
"Do you know me? You talk as if you do. Who are you?" Reese asked him for the second time.
The man kept silent, not answering Reese's question.
Reese went over to the table where there were scattered books, foods and a knife. Reese looked at the books and she realized that the books were similar to the ones she has.
"Young lady Rebecca ---"
"I am not your young lady and I am not Rebecca." Malamig na saad ni Reese at napakuyom ng kamao.
"But it is your real name, young lady. You are a daughter of a high-rank vampire ---"
Reese grabbed the knife and threw it to the butler, but before it even touched the butler's skin, Kier suddenly arrived and he caught the flying knife with no hardship.
"Just accept your identity. Nothing would change the fact that you're an immortal, you're a vampire. Being an immortal is a blessing, Reese." Wika ni Kier at binaba ang kutsilyong nakuha nito.
"I won't accept it! Being an immortal is a curse, it's not a blessing!" Reese exclaimed and she ran towards the door and escaped.
Reese stopped when she realized that she's in the middle of nowhere. All she could see was tall trees, the foggy and gloomy atmosphere made it possible to call this place haunted.
"I was impressed with how you escaped the cops who were chasing you, but sorry, you can't use it this time… your escaping abilities, I mean." Wika ni Kier sa likod niya.
Hindi makapaniwala si Reese na nangyayari sa kanya ito. Kier knew about the cops, he was probably the one who did such a scheming thing for her to run away.
"You were the one who called the goddamn cops?" Halos pagalit na wika ni Reese kay Kier.
Kier laughed. "Yea, you're a criminal now in the eyes of those stupid humans. I think Severus might have heard of the murders you did by now."
Reese froze upon hearing her husband's name. How will she be able to face her husband again? Everything was fine, everything was happy… but how will she face Severus if he'll get to know Reese's true identity?
"No, no… You're lying…" Nanghihinang wika ni Reese.

Reese was in complete confusion. Knowing that she was not a human, learning that she's a vampire --- everything's seems to be a joke.
