Chereads / The Undying Greed / Chapter 34 - The Long Night II

Chapter 34 - The Long Night II

"Nylah, if you would kindly pause for a moment," Oga requested, his eyes brimming with excitement. "I intend to improve the Egoi Game, to enliven the night."

"Egoi, isn't' that the boring games nobles play?" questioned Nylah

"Rest assured," he said, "you'll fall in love with this and who knows, it might add to our funds!" His tone was so convincing that the ladies couldn't help but feel intrigued, eager to lend a hand.

"Be right back, I have a promise to fulfill," Nuu interjected, his agile form darting through the corridors as he ascended the staircase.

Oga cast a fleeting gaze upon the fading silhouette of Nuu, his mind filled with questions, yet as swiftly as the thought had surfaced, it vanished into the recesses of his consciousness.

"Tonight shall be a unique experience," Oga declared, revealing a stump of White Cypress Wood. "Ladies, if you don't mind stepping a little further back!"

Oga's mind raced like a wild stallion, galloping through the fields of his imagination, as he sought to conjure up a game of chance that would dazzle and delight.

With the fervor of a madman, he scoured the corners of his memory of old, searching for the perfect ingredients to create a masterpiece of entertainment.

And then, like a bolt of lightning, it struck him. Two memories, seemingly unrelated, but when combined, they would create a brilliant and unique game of chance.

He thought of a roulette wheel, spinning round and round, and raunchy emojis, popping up on a screen. His mind whirled with excitement as he began to envision the possibilities.

"This is it," he thought to himself. 'This is the game that will increase their fortune.

But it's not enough to simply combine these two elements. No, it's my duty as a man of Earth to infuse this game with that certain je ne sais quoi that is missing from the traditional Egoi.'

With a few deep breaths, he focused his mind and summoned a rather large wood out of the Flesh Pouch.

The Cypress Wood before him seemed to come alive, rising up into the air with a graceful ease that defied explanation. No incantation was needed to evoke this wondrous display of power.

As it levitated, the sound of sanding filled the air, as if the rough edges of the wood were being honed to perfection with each passing moment.

The three women who stood witness to Oga's handiwork were speechless with amazement. Not a single speck of dust or debris could be seen.

Oga had executed two spells with masterful precision: the simple Rank 1 Wind Resonance and the more complex Rank 2 Sonic Pulse. These two spells were merged into a formidable Rank 3 spell called Sonic Wind Sculpting.

Such an achievement was no easy feat, requiring immense focus and a single mistake could prove disastrous, causing the object to break apart or even harm the user and those around them.

Yet, Oga had managed to accomplish this incredible feat with almost no guidance, relying solely on the pointers left behind by his late father in a tome.

Through rigorous study and experimentation, he had honed his skills to be almost on par with the beasts that roamed the halls of the Royal Academy of Sword and Magic.

Technically, Oga was executing a third spell, levitant, a spell of similar rank as Sonic Pulse. Such a display of power would deplete the mana reserves of any Acolyte at his rank and grade 4 aptitude.

It was no wonder that Oga had earned the moniker of "Oga the Demon" during his years of banditry.

"Ladies, do not get too close, for your time to contribute will come," Oga cautioned, sensing their curiosity.

The three women hastily retreated to the other side of the room, but their eyes were still fixed upon Oga's sculpting. Each moment was magical, and they were captivated by his skillful mastery of the elements.

As the minutes ticked by, a circular board slowly took shape before their eyes. It was a marvel to behold, crafted with the skill of a Master Artisan, a person of great prestige.

The Khan Dynasty and Ordric Federation takes this title with great importance, the title of Master was more than just a mere honorific.

It was a revered accolade, one that could elevate a person's status beyond the confines of the Caste System.

In a society that placed great emphasis on hierarchy, the title of Master was a symbol of greatness, a mark of distinction that set one apart from the rest.

But despite the many laws that governed both nations, there were still those who found themselves trapped, their fate seemingly sealed by the restriction of their society.

The Khan, in particular, was known for its inflexibility, and its rigid adherence to a system that favored the noble-born over the commoners.

For a slave, there could be no hope of rising above their station. And even for a commoner, the path to nobility was fraught with hardship. The trials one had to endure were many, and the rewards often cost them their life.

The death rate of a Baron is one of the highest, simply because, they're a dime a dozen, guarding a border is no easy job, anything can go wrong, and the worst part is you're replaceable.

And yet, there were those who managed to defy the odds, who managed to escape the shackles through sheer talent and luck. For them, there was no greater gift than the ability to create, to shape the world around them with their own two hands. It was a talent that could not be ignored, a gift that set them apart from other mortals: Master and Grandmaster.

These titles were not a result of magic or aura, but rather a recognition of an individual's hard work and dedication. Like a Master Swordsman, who had spent countless hours perfecting their technique, or a Grandmaster Inscriptionist, who had dedicated their lives to the art of rune crafting.

One does not need to be a Practioner to reach the rank of a Master, but to go beyond like Sr. Yanis, an understanding of harmonic resonance is required, this is the insurmountable gap, that simply can't be breached by a mortal.

Consider Oga, for example; His sculptures are imbued with a mystical quality that captures the essence of his being.

The force of his elemental energy is channeled into every stroke, every curve, every chisel mark, giving meaning to his roulette.

It is as if he breathes life into his creations, infusing them with a vitality that defies all expectations, so his creation will always fetch much higher than a Master, even is he didn't have the same level of talent.

In a realm where Practitioners ruled supreme, the prospects of amassing wealth and achieving renown as a mere mortal seemed futile to Oga, and Nuu.

They could have easily pursued such mundane aspirations, but they knew that strength was the ultimate currency in this cutthroat world.

To settle for anything less than exceptional was to deny oneself the chance to truly flourish. The duo recognized that in this age of power.

Wealth without strength was a mere illusion, destined to dissipate like sand in the wind.

Thus, the pursuit of mastery was not just a means to an end, but a way of life.

It was a journey that required sacrifice and dedication, a path that few had the courage to follow.

As the Cypress wood settled into the elegant shape that Oga had envisioned, a sense of gratification coursed through him.

The wood had gracefully yielded to his skilled hands, bending and curving into the perfect form. However, there was some wood left over, and Oga couldn't bear to let it go to waste. Without hesitation, he set to work, carving and shaping until two wooden paddles emerged, polished and sleek.

Oga continued to fashion his latest creations- Roulette Wheels that he had dreamt up in a fever of inspiration.

Unlike the traditional Egoi games, which revolved around participants locating their missing articles of clothing, Oga's new creations promised to captivate and engage all who partook.

Beneath the thirteen symbols, a series of actions was inscribed, some more entertaining than others.

The Roulette Wheel was no ordinary creation. It was an audacious experiment, designed to test the ladies' reactions, and Oga was eager, nay, positively brimming with anticipation, to witness the results.

His inspiration came from reminiscing about the popular emojis he received during his youthful days on Earth. But Oga was not content to simply replicate the ordinary wheel of old. No, he had grand plans.

He would make the roulette wheel float, defying the very laws of gravity, making it easier for all participants to take a spin. And he knew the perfect person to help him bring his vision to life: Yanis.

The night was pregnant with possibilities, and if all went well, Oga's cunning plan will grant him a peek into society's tiers and a means of profit - The Ero Wheel.

What better way to infiltrate the elite than a game that exposes their deepest yearnings? And the cherry on top, it brings in cash! However, the success of Oga's scheme hinged solely on the Ero Wheel's popularity.

As an Earthling, Oga had been granted a second life, a gift from the Divine Truck Kun. Yet, this blessing came with a steep price to pay.

He lost both parents at a tender age. Despite the hardships and struggles that came with their circumstances, things were finally looking up for their dying household, so how could Oga let this opportunity slip away? Especially when all the pieces were in his hands.

In the present moment, Nuu had presented to Oga a clan of Mertaru, laying them at his feet. This group was renowned for their extraordinary abilities in coating ships.

Unlike humans, they possessed longevity of up to a thousand years, the equivalent of a Rank 3 Acolyte.

On the other hand, Yanis's exceptional talent in inscriptions had reached the level of Grandmaster. His aptitude for tweaking beast cores and imbuing them with meaning could facilitate the establishment of their own airship enterprise, akin to the Erisken Clan.

With proper guidance, this enterprise had the potential to generate hundreds of millions of revenue every year.

Furthermore, Caterina had utilized their sperm to create a bank tailored to cater to infertile nobles.

Finally, the prospect of an Ero Wheel was now visible on the horizon.

In spite of the significant investments these ventures demanded, Oga remained resolute in his determination.

He saw the potential that lay ahead and was willing to take on the risk.

This was one of many reasons why he sought to merge the Viscount Household with his own and elevate Jard to the position of Count in House Vinci.

The combined revenue from both households would be sufficient to pursue some of his most audacious schemes.

In the mind of Oga, the pursuit of mere wealth was a trivial matter. Rather, he dreamed of creating an unstoppable force that would reign supreme over the entire planet.

The knowledge he gleaned from the pages of fantasy novels was not mere entertainment, but a font of wisdom to be applied to his ultimate goal.

How could he ignore the importance of establishing a divine kingdom of faith, when the path of magic itself pointed to this truth in its most advanced stages?

Thus, when Margaret approached him privately to inquire about his true ambition, Oga's response left her utterly bewildered, prompting her to request time to ponder his words.

Oga was no fool; he knew better than to divulge his true aim of overthrowing every dynasty and uniting the world under his household. Instead, he chose a more palatable answer, that of a hegemon whose power was so great that even the Khan could not ignore his household.

Oga's mind was racing with ideas as he contemplated the design of the thirteen symbols from his past, some were emojis, while others were themes, he intended to infuse that same sense of playful mischief into his latest invention.

The famous emoji he could recall were: [ the eggplant-oral], [ peaches-ass play], [frog-kiss the prince], [ok finger -anal], [the peace sign-vaginal], [pointed finger-fingering], [paddle- naughty spanking], and [sweat droplet - orgasm]

Oga plans to incorporate these symbols into his Ero Wheel, with a few tweaks here and there

As for the paddles in his hand, he gave them playful monikers like "Wife Trainer."

With a mischievous grin plastered across his face, Oga sauntered over to the women, holding the paddles out for display.

Their giggles and playful banter filled the room, and even Yaya was taken aback by his unexpected levity. "I didn't know Lord Oga had such a playful side," she whispered to herself, and Hilda chimed in agreement.

But Nylah, with her contagious laughter, "Humph, he's simply good at hiding it," she retorted, causing the women to erupt in disbelief. "No way!" they exclaimed in unison, enjoying the unexpected turn of events.

[1:30 am]

The resounding smack of wood against Yaya's ass echoed throughout the room, filling the space with a rhythmic percussion that quickened the heartbeats of all those present.

Nylah and Hilda were the ones responsible for this playful torment, admiring the way Yaya's ample breast bounced with each paddle.

Hilda had initially hesitated to join in, but Nylah's persistent pleading had left her no choice but to grasp the paddle and strike it against Yaya's rear.

As the three women reveled in their sensual game, the atmosphere around them grew increasingly playful and charged with erotic energy.

Even the busy Oga had to pause and spectate, only to find himself unable to suppress a wide grin.

Despite Yaya's efforts to stifle her voice, a low groan of pleasure escaped her lips with each subsequent impact.

Their clothing had long since been shed, leaving them clad only in thongs that offered little protection against the punishing blows of the paddle. With each "pah" and "pah", the paddle left its mark upon Yaya's flesh, eliciting a mixture of pleasure and pain that she couldn't resist.
