Chapter 11 - Long time, no see

It's been a few days since me and Adam almost kissed. Well I dont know what would have happened actually because his stupid phone rang. I dont know who called him but as soon as he got off the phone he had a scared look in his eyes. He told me that hes sorry and that he had to go he have me the work that I missed in class and left. The day after that I got my work done in the morning and went to school, but to my surprise Adam was not at school. He wasn't there for the last two days of the week, it was very lonely. But I was kind of glad he wasn't there I would be so embarrassed because I was so close to kissing him. What would he even think of me after that he would probably think I am gross and not want to hang out with me anymore. There was probably something on my face that he wanted to take off, while I was there trying to kiss him. (After school Kayden goes home and stresses, he does completely nothing over the weekend and by Monday he's exhausted and doesn't want to go to school but he still does.) "Its probably just going to be another boring day", Kayden arrives at school and Adam is still not there. Class is about to start when the teacher says, "Good morning everyone, we have a new student joining our class today everyone give a warm welcome to, Liam" (Kaydens mouth drops open when hs sees Liam) Kaydens mind- "No, theres no way that's my childhood friend Liam theres tons of people named Liam, but it looks just like him, it has to be him". When class ends Kayden rushes to Liam who is already out the door. Kayden- "Liam!" (Liam turns around to look at Kayden with a confused expression). (All out of breath Kayden asks.) "D-do you remember me?!", "Huh, why have we met before??". "No, no,no, it had to be you, look we met in 1st grade do you remember me my name is Kayden we were best friends until I had to move away!?!?" "..Wait, NO WAY KAYDEN I THOUGHT YOU WERE JUST SOMEONE THAT LOOKED A LOT LIKE HIM!!!" "Oh lord thank god I was right that would have been embarrassing". (Liam pulls Kayden into a tight hug.) Liam- "I missed you so much we have so much to talk about." (After school Liam and Kayden head to Kaydens house). Kayden- "So how have you been, hows your family?" "I'm good and so is my family, how about you how have you been?" "Eh, I am surviving, haha" "Well let's move off of that depressing topic I want to know some juicy details, so do you like anyone so far any hot girls you into?" "Uhhhh no, no ones really spiked my interest". (Kayden blushes thinking back to what happened between him and Adam a few days ago.) Liam- " Hmmm, you sure about that (Liam smirks) I can see that blush so who is it is it someone in any of our classes do I know her?." "Ughhhh, stop saying her, I'll tell you who it is but promise you wont tell anyone and definitely not that person!" "Uh, ok I promise". "Um... so it's not a girl"....."OMG ITS A GUY" "Will you shut up yes ok it's a guy". " Wait so two questions, first are you gay and second who is it." "I'll answer your second question first it's a guy named Adam, you haven't met him because for the past few days he hasn't been at school." "Ok and what about my first question". "Ok, so about your first question, uh I dont really know I haven't ever had an attraction to anyone until Adam, so I dont really know what I am." "Hmm, ok well you have my full support." "Thanks Liam, you know I've really missed you all these years I didn't think I'd ever see you again." "Yea me too you never told me why you left eatheir" "Ah well, that's a story for another time".
