I knew things had to be different when it came to Iago but I wasn't expecting it to be so different. He emerged from the shadow, somewhat like my Shadow Step skill. There was a difference to it though, instead of coming out of the shadow it was like he had ripped a hole in the air. He then rushed himself at Obitiga, who had no time to really defend himself. Iago was faster than he was the last time we fought. By the time Temti and I were able to react to help Obitiga had been sent across the security room.
"..Ugh.."
[Obitiga, in pain]
"Are you okay!?"
[Twilight, shocked]
"Ye..Yeah, I think so."
[Obitiga, trying to get back to his feet]
"I'm on my way!"
[Temti, rushing to Obitiga]
"Tsk, I thought he'd put up a little more of a fight. What about you Twilight. We've still got a score to settle don't you say?"
[Iago, disappointed and getting into fighting stance]
I scanned the room, the others were still fighting, Temti was healing Obitiga, and here stood Iago, ready to go.
"Yeah, I guess I have no other choice."
[Twilight, as he runs towards Iago]
Twilight and Iago begin battling, meanwhile, on the other end, we had Liam.
"Come on my brother is that all you've got?"
[Cult Naga, blocking Liam's flurry of stars]
"No, I'm just getting started."
[Liam, still tossing a few stars]
"I have to use it, I didn't think it would be something I had to do right away, especially since it's something I'm still learning."
[Liam, thinking to himself]
Liam then takes a long pause and while taking a deep breath he begins to vibrate. Generating this kind of dark electrical current around himself.
"Oh this looks interesting, I'll wait and see what you've got planned."
[Cult Naga]
He begins to focus the current into one place, his hands. With his hands now fully electrified, he began to throw another set of stars. These stars now infused with what seemed to be a type of dark electric current moved faster than before. Then pulling out his dagger he charged himself at the Cult Naga. A little shocked about what he was seeing, the Cult Naga reacted a little slowly, unable to defend himself from all the stars. Once hit by the stars he began to spasm a bit though he did not go down. By the time he had come too, Liam had made his way to him. Defending himself their swords clashed.
[Clank]
"You're much better than I thought you would brother. I guess I underestimated you, to begin with."
[Cult Naga, defending himself while removing the stars]
"Yeah, it seems like you did."
[Liam]
"You know what, I'll reward you for being able to land a blow. I'll tell you my name, and why don't you tell me yours. The name is Nizer."
[Nizer]
"It's Liam."
[Liam]
"Nice to meet you Liam, I just want to say you remind me of someone I used to know. Anyway, I'm sorry to inform you but even those enhanced stars will eventually stop working."
[Nizer]
Nizer begins to push Liam back, little by little the force he exerts increases. Until Liam's back is now against the wall.
"She's a Naga too you know."
[Nizer, thrusting Liam further against the wall]
"Who is?"
[Liam trying his best to push Nizer off him]
"The person you remind me of. Come to speak of it she has somewhat the same attributes you seem to have. Dark Lightning if I'm correct."
[Nizer]
"Yeah, sure?"
[Liam, shocked and confused]
"How'd he guess, and someone else out there has the same type of lightning. The King and Queen told me it wasn't common. That only a few people were strong enough to handle it."
[Liam, thinking to himself]
Liam was finally able to get Nizer off him, and way from the wall. They continued to clash from there. Liam, still infused with his skill, had a bit of an advantage landing a few blows here and there but not without receiving some himself.
While Liam was still trying to defeat Nizer, as well as Twilight and Iago exchanging blows. Lepricus and his siblings were having the same type of trouble.
"We have to hurry this up and help them."
[Sirisa]
"That's easier said than done. We can't do anything until we defeat these two."
[Lepricus]
"You say that like we're no match for you."
[Cult Member 1]
The Arrow he shot began to spread into multiple as if cloning itself. Each aimed at either the Princes and Princess or the Outcast. None but one hit their mark, killing one of Outcast.
"Sigion!"
[Outcast, running to the aid of the other]
"What was that?"
[Gixoh, shocked]
"I'm not even sure but that Cult Member is definitely a high-class archer."
[Lepricus]
Suddenly these vines began to emerge from the ground. Wrapping themselves around both the Outcast and Gixoh. It continued to try and grab both Lepricus and Sirisa though unable to.
"..Ugh..what is this?"
[Outcast, struggling to get free]
"By the looks of it, we must be dealing with some type of nature mage. There's no other class that can do this."
[Gixoh]
"How do you know?"
[Outcast]
"We have a few of them back at home."
[Gixoh]
"Gixoh are you okay?"
[Sirisa, yelling up to Gixoh]
"Yeah, I am so is.."
[Gixoh, asking the Outcast]
"Uhhh what's your name"
[Gixoh]
"Rion."
[Rion]
"So is Rion."
[Gixoh, yelling down to Sirisa and Lepricus]
"Don't worry we'll get you two out of there."
[Sirisa]
"You are all really underestimating us aren't you."
[Cult Member 2]
"I can get myself out if you pass me my swords."
[Gixoh]
"Don't worry just give us a sec..."
[Lepricus, ignoring the cult members]
[Woosh]
An arrow hits the wall of the security room.
"You know we were talking to you right."
[Cult Member 1]
Yeah, and so. Right now I've got more important things to worry about.
[Lepricus]
"Well, I think you should start worrying about yourself first."
[Cult Member 2, tossing a few seeds at both Lepricus and Sirisa]
The seeds landed on the ground, sprouting somewhat like the plant that grabbed Gixoh and Rion. Though these seemed to have mouths instead.
"Are those what I think they are?"
[Sirisa, as she and Lepricus leap back]
"Yeah, Medisea Plants, we're definitely dealing with a Nature Mage."
[Lepricus, as the Medisea Plants begin sprouting]
"A high class one by the look of it."
[Sirisa, moving away from the plants]
"So we've got ourselves a Nature Mage and an Archer. Seems like a fun combo."
[Lepricus, as the plants, take full form]
"I'll go ahead and toss Gixoh his weapons if you think you can distract them a little."
[Sirisa, grabbing Gixoh's swords]
"That shouldn't be a problem."
[Lepricus]
As Lepricus begins his battle against the Medisea Plants Sirisa makes her way up to Gixoh tossing him his swords. Meanwhile, through all of this Temti had fully healed Obitiga, and they both returned to the battle scene.
"You've grown since the last time we saw each other."
[Iago, clashing with Twilight]
"I can't really say the same for you."
[Twilight, stepping back from the impact]
"He doesn't need to know, that's a lie. He's definitely a whole different person. He's able to take my dagger to his fists."
[Twilight, thinking]
"I guess you're a little curious."
[Iago, as he unwraps his fists, revealing metal gloves]
"You see I got a little upgrade."
[Iago, smiling]
"Why should that matter to me?"
[Twilight, a little annoyed and confused]
"You'll see why in a bit, but it looks like your friend is okay. I'll let y'all talk for a bit."
[Iago, as he sitting down wrapping his gloves back up]
