"Umm... should we run back to the cafeteria?" Brice said in a hurry. "Maybe... Um actually yeah, that's a good idea." I said as the guy is now walking toward us. We get our things and run back to the cafeteria. I look back, and the guy headed the other way. "Phew," I said. "I wonder what he wanted," Brice said. "Same here," I said.
We come into the noisy cafeteria, "I'm going to go catch up with some of my friends, okay." I said.
"Me, too." He replies back.
"Hey," I said to one of my friends, Angela.
"Oh, hey, Bea." She says back.
"Did you hear Stacy got a new kitten?" She asked.
"No, really? She has enough cats as it is."
"Yeah, it's crazy how many cats she has." She says. Then I look out of one of the cafeteria's windows. There is the man again. What is up with that creep? Well, at least I know I'm safe in here.
The bell rings, and I head back to my class. I see Brice and give him a wave. Alex comes up and walks beside me. "Hey," I said.
"Hey, your sister still making you do her chores?" He asks. "Unfortunately, yes. But one day, I'll get some dirt on her and call it even." I said. "Well, good luck with that." He said. I get to class, and Alex goes to his.
And this class is so boring. Who knew History class would be boring? But thankfully, the class goes by fast. That class is nothing but snooze town, honestly. I get out of class and walk to the next hour. Weirdly, the hallway is so quiet.
Almost nowhere, I almost trip on someone who was gathering up some paper on the floor.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you." I said to him.
"Oh, it's fine." He said back. He looks like a freshman, so I should probably be careful, I sense a teacher is glaring my way.
"Need any help?" I asked.
"Nope, almost got it all." He replies.
"Okay," I said and head back to class, I really hope he was not trying to pretend he didn't need any and wanted me to help. Oh well.
The last hour, then school will be over. "Hey," I said as I take a seat next to Brice. "Hey, do you want to maybe go to the park and run around the track?" He asks while getting out his notebook.
"Sure, mind if I bring my dog, Caesar?" I said.
"Nope, don't mind at all. How about Friday at 4:30, the Betty Virginia park?" He asks.
"Sure. My house is a little far away-" I try to finish, but, "Then I shall pick you and your dog up." He says.
"How'd ya know I didn't have a car?" I ask.
"Just a guess." He says. Oh, he totally did not know whether or not I had a car, maybe he just wanted to pick me up. But I'm happy that Brice and I have this running thing we do. I hope he's not afraid of dobermans, though. And I also hope he does not think it's a cute sweet poodle or something though Caesar is friendly.
I get on the bus, which is unusually quiet today.
I finally hop off the bus and head home, I stop by and pet someone's cat. And I hate walking home since there are always dogs barking through the fences, I'm not really afraid of dogs. Still, I'm scared of them getting through the fence and chasing me, and getting me, then attacking. Okay, maybe I'm a little bit afraid of dogs, mostly the ones I don't know.
I get to my house and walk through to see Caesar lying down in front of the door, waiting for me.
"Hey, boy," I say to him.
"Hey." My sister says to me.
"Hey, anything you want me to do for you?" I ask.
"Unfortunately, no." She replies.

"Hey, mom, what's for dinner?" I ask since I'm like starving.
"Chicken pasta." She says as she's getting some of the ingredients from the fridge.
"Okay, cool," I say. "I'm going to play with Caesar in the backyard," I say while I pick up a tennis ball from Caesar's toy basket. He immediately sees the tennis ball and goes to the back door and waits for me. I open the door, and he bounds through it, jumping like a maniac. I through the tennis ball a reasonable distance and he almost catches it in mid-air, he brings it back like the good boy he is. I do this with him a few more times until mom says that dinner is ready.
We watch our shows as usual and eat dinner. Today all the cats are eating out of their own bowls.
I go brush my hair and put on pajamas and also brush my teeth when I get to my room, no Pony.
I wake up earlier than usual this time and have enough time to take Caesar on the run. I do so and leave a note just in case mom wakes up and notices I'm gone. I'm glad to have Caesar alongside me. He was initially supposed to be a guard dog for the house even though we live in a gated community, but still glad to have him. We took a short run, and I got back in time to take a shower and get new clothes on. Today I take the stinky, loud, horrible, crowded bus. Well, at least there is an empty seat in the back.
I get to school and see Brice with no one, so I head over to him. "Hey," I say.
"Hey." He says.
"Want to go running? Let's hope that creep won't be around." I ask.
"Um sure." He replies. We walk over to the track. "I really wonder what in the world that creep wants," I say.
"Yep, same here."
"Oh, hey, Alex is here," I say in surprise. Alex walks over to us, breaking his jog into a walk.
