ZACH'S POV
"Emily, I dare you to kiss Zach."
That was what I heard when it was Emily's turn again. Terra dared her to kiss me. I was really surprised, no one had been given a dare like that the entire night, other than Lizzie and Zane. Especially not to Emily after she told us the truth about her and her opinions of a crush. As much as I was shocked, I secretly hoped that Emily would kiss me. I definitely wouldn't reject. Then I noticed Emily looked at me and I came put of my thought process.
Emily looked really surprised but she also hid any other emotions she felt because I could see her emotional wall was up and she had a relatively blank look on her face. She then stood up, looked at no one in particular, and said, "I'm tired of playing Truth or Dare. You guys can keep playing if you want, I'm going to go downstairs and set up the air mattress for later tonight."
Emily then gave me another quick glance and walked out of the room. Lizzie gave a quick accusing look at Ashley and Terra and then followed after Emily. I wondered why Emily acted like that. I know that we haven't known each other for more than two days but would it be so horrible to kiss me? I didn't show it, but I felt a bit disappointed, maybe the feelings I were already started to feel for her were completely one sided. She quickly turned that dare down and left the room, she obviously didn't like the idea of kissing me. I even thought that when she mentioned someone she started having small feelings for it might have been me because she said that she doesn't really know them much. I was probably just hoping, I will need to work harder to get her more comfortable with me.
After Emily and Lizzie left, I noticed the awkward tension in the room. Monica noticed it also because she said, "It is almost 11 pm. so we should also go downstairs and help get sleeping arrangements set up. We can at least try to settle down for the night." After she said that the awkwardness was gone and I followed her and Zane downstairs.
When we got there Emily was silently watching the air mattress inflate and Lizzie was getting sheets and blankets out from closets and storage spaces. Lizzie gave the group a quick glance warning us to not talk about what had happened. To make sure an awkward environment didn't happen again, people started talking, making jokes, and working on sleeping spots.

After a little while people abandoned the idea of making up beds and started goofing off and things became more normal. And a crazy pillow fight was going on.
I sat at the kitchen table and watched the pillow fight take place. I wasn't planning on joining in but I found it very amusing watching Zane acting protective of Lizzie and playfully attacking hitting her with his pillow. All of a sudden Emily appeared in front of me. She said, "What are you doing just sitting here? Why aren't you attacking someone with some random, fluffy, purple, heart pillow?" As she held up the purple heart pillow she was holding for emphasis.
I chuckled, "Well pummeling other people with pillows isn't exactly one of my hobbies nor is it on my bucket list."
She stared at me for a few seconds and said, "Suck it up Mr. Popular Party Pooper because as your friend I cannot allow you to sit by and not join in on an awesome pillow fight." Next Emily proceeded to throw a pillow at me and then whacked me once with her pillow.
I caught the pillow that was thrown at me and stood up, before I could do anything else Emily started to run towards the pillow fight and said, "You have to catch me Mr. Popular Party Pooper."
