He reloaded his rifle but instead of a normal bullet, the sniper loaded a bluish pinched cylinder. After that he positioned his rifle again and placed his eye in front of the crosshairs. The scope seemed to be a bit fogged though. The weather got a bit cooler. September was around the corner after all.
He wiped the crosshairs and tried to lock onto someone again. "Hm? I can't see them through the window. Did they move? Did they take the so called Kokoshi Arisaka with them?"
Thunder rumbled from the distance. The sniper remained vision locked onto the crosshairs. "I can't find them anywhere. It seems that they did take her dead body and ran away."
He stood up.
Footsteps. They were distant but they ringed through his ears as they were getting closer... and faster. "What's going on?"
Suddenly the footsteps stopped. A drop of sweat trickled down from his face.

"Masterbolt." His eyes widen as he steps sidewards. A dagger with a zigzagging blade grazes his face. Electricity resonates around it. It's held by a blonde male with a blue jacket.
The sniper used this time to activate his figure. "Grounded!" The tall building in which he was positioned in molded and that let him fall down to the ground.
"Raigi Kamiki?! He attacked me?! He should have ran away while he had the chance. This will only make it worse for him!"
He flipped and landed on the concrete but it molded like a hydraulic piston and launched him even higher.
As he tried landing on another building. He grunted, "Dammit, my Simile ran out."
A fanning noise zapped across him. It was Masterbolt. Raigi had thrown the dagger, as it distanced from him, it had become Simile once again.
The Simile flies back to Raigi. The path it took wounded the sniper's leg but he managed to land using his hand and rolled onto the rooftop of another building.
Raigi zapped in front of him and smirked, "Hello."
The sniper laughed. Rocks started rise from the ground. "My name is Ichigen, my figure allows me to manipulate solids created from the earth's minerals but only when my body was incapacitated in anyway. You're Attack on my leg, activated my figure."
"..."
"Do you hear me, Kamiki? The more you damage me, the stronger I become!"
"Shut up. You're being prideful all of a sudden. Surely, you don't think that Kokoshi is dead, right?"
"What?"
"Once my figure activates my speed goes above that of a mere bullet. I blocked the bullet before it got too close. All she's left with is a grazed temple."
"Tch."
"Your showdown is with me." He points Masterbolt at Ichigen, "The moment you attacked her is the moment your fate was sealed."
Raigi charged at him. Ichigen obviously could not match up with his speed so he was stabbed in the shoulder by Raigi's dagger.
Ichigen screamed in pain. "Are you feeling the electric shock? Masterbolt's blade is made up of my electricity. It delivers a high voltage shock to human tissue." Raigi draws the dagger from Ichigen's shoulder, "Another ampere and your heart would've stopped. I'm letting you alive. Cause I'm not done having fun with you yet."
"Don't get too cocky, Kamiki. Your Masterbolt's electric shock would just incapacitate me more. Making my figure stronger! Did you even listen earlier?"
"Alright then. New plan. I'll have to kill you before you could even make use of your figure."
Raigi slashed downward. Ichigen is prepared this time. He jumps upward and the dagger hits the ground. It then molds and throws Ichigen into the air. With a quick aerial side flip, he swings multiple rocks down at Raigi. Raigi jumped through each of the rocks falling on him. Ichigen made the rocks fly upwards hitting Raigi in the back. This launched him back down onto the building's rooftop.
"Bastard."
More rocks started raining on him.
"I told you this would only make your suffer more."
Spikes started rising from the ground ready to penetrate Raigi's body. One stabbed through Raigi's hand, "Augh!"
Ichigen landed on the ground and sighed, "If only you knew who Arisaka really is, you wouldn't have attacked me and gotten this injured."
"Look who's talking. Your shoulder has been dislocated. And your entire body is full of burned and gashed skin after being shocked. You look like an undead corpse."
Raigi yelled as he threw the dagger and it hit Ichigen's leg. And it wounded his ankle but he didn't budge.
"Expecting screams of pain? I used my Figure to stuff rocks and grains of earth under my skin to insulate it. Your high voltage shocks are of no effect to me."
Another spike burst through his other hand. He screams in pain again.
"You can't use your Idiom now! Are you shocked?!"

"Uhh, yeah.. Hey Senpai, can you get Konechan on the phone?"
"Sure. We're finishing a project in Seiko's house right now. So yeah.. I'll get her on the phone."
"Kokoshi! Aichi's gotta talk to you!"
"Oh sure, don't touch my stuff okay?"
"Sure!"
Raigi handed Kokoshi the phone.
"Just kidding." He whispered.
Raigi dashed to Kokoshi's Laptop and play around a bit. But as he read what was written on the laptop, his eyes widen.
"Hey Raigi, so Aichi's gonna sleep he-"
"Kinako Hatsumei?"
"... I told you to not touch my stuff"
"Your real name was Kinako Hatsumei and you were communicating with the lieutenant general about Aichi and Seiko's actions? What are you doing?"
"Shut up."
"I can't just let this pass, you know?"
"Fine." She sat at the chair in front of Raigi. "I'm Kinako Hatsumei. I told Seiko that I'm an exchange student but in actuality I'm an agent sent by the Gendaishi Organization. That's all I'm gonna say."
"Hm.."
"You're taking this quite calmly."
Raigi rests his arms on the sides of the couch, "There's no point is screaming out loud that you're a traitor."
She chuckled, "Yeah. I like it when our normally explosive interactions just kinda get calm."
"..."
"Hey. I know you're surprised."
"How?"
"Your wrist is glowing."
"Oh- Yeah, I'm a Gendaishi."
"Still.."
"Hm?"
"I'm planning to quit being a spy and just live here in Seijo with you guys."

"..the problem is.. I can't protect myself... Despite being a part of the organization, I myself don't have a Figure. If I quit, then they'll hunt me down. I wouldn't want to put myself or any of you in danger."

So she told him everything she knew. Not that many actually. She only knew that it had something to do with the Lieutenant General.
There was knocking at the front door.
"Must be Aichi. Don't tell this to him or anyone else okay."

His entire body was being stabbed all around like a pincushion but that was nothing to how deep his mind was.
"She told me to not tell it to anyone but she still revealed it to Aichi and Seiko. Good Grief. That girl always amuses me. It would be a waste... IF I DIED AND LEFT HER!!"
Raigi's wrist brightened. The shockwaves around his body pulsated stronger and stronger. "What the.."
Electricity compacted into his left hand. But he wasn't able to grasp it. His hand was wounded and it was physically impossible to move. "You're trying to perform a Hyperbole Strike but you can't even summon an Idiom!"
"So what?!" Raigi dropped his jaw as lightning came zapping into his mouth.
"Bastard."
He bit down on the lightning and it arranged itself into a blade, Masterbolt. Raigi muffled, "HYPERBOLE STRIKE!"
The blade overflowed with energy. Ichigen molded the ground and launched himself away. Raigi charged towards him and swinged his head. The blade swept into Ichigen's arm. "Haha! I've insulated my arm! Lightning can't pass-" Suddenly a jolting pain resonates from his arm across his body. "-through?! No, it didn't just pass through. The lightning destroyed my insulation!"
He yelled as the pain circled around his body. As he wished for the pain to end, he felt his heart muscles begin to spasm. He had trouble breathing and he watched his skin begin to darken. His eyesight started to weaken as his eyeballs begin to rip.
Ichigen's body was completely electrocuted. They both fell to the ground, although Raigi managed to land on his feet.
Raigi walked towards Ichigen's smoking body. He was still conscious. "Even Zeus or Jupiter can't change fate. I already told you, you were fated to die like this."
Ichigen replied wheezing, "Will you kill me?"
"No."
Raigi headed for the stairs holding onto his abdomen. It had received quite the stabbing. Suddenly the sky rumbled. Lightning struck Ichigen and that ended his life.
"..destiny will."

After delivering a high voltage shock. It doesn't kill its target but it turns them into a lightning rod. The effect will last until they die. If they are fated to die tomorrow, lightning will strike them tomorrow. If they are fated to die at age 80, they will be struck at their 80th birthday. The effect will activate on anyone, friend or foe, the moment they are stabbed by the blade. Heh. Wanna hear a cool story?"
"Oh! Senpai! You're back!" Aichi called out. His enthusiasm left as they saw how injured he was. The sky rumbled and Raigi collapsed in front of them.
"I cut my finger while playing around with Masterbolt once."
