You lose track of time as your training the techniques Isaac tought you. "So you fancy yourself a swordsman?" the blacksmith says
"Hm, yeah I guess so, I just started training though."
"Yeah even I can tell those techniques are crude, here" she tosses the dagger to you "good as new, what do yeh think?" you unsheathe it to reveal that it might as well be pristine.
"This is amazing, thank you!"
"Yep no problem, if your looking for the Inn its right next to the guild hall and if you join the guild tell Henderson that Cindy sent you, he'll teach you a bit of swordsmanship." You leave the shop and head to the guild hall, hoping to join before it gets dark. The guild hall is a large wood and marble building that looks closer to a cathedral than anything but by the time you get there its already closed so you head to the Inn. You open the door and find a bustling saloon as well "What can I help you with?" the bartender asked while he was cleaning a glass.
"Im here to rent a room"
"How long?"
"One night"
"19 copper" you hand him the copper
"Second room on the left" that was much faster and simpler than you though it'd be. You went upstairs and went to sleep. You were awaken by the sounds of guards yelling and clock tower bells ringing, you rush downstairs and ask the bartender what's happening.
"For the towers to ring this much it must be a monster hoard this hasn't happened in years!"
as you burst through the door your greeted with a giant mutant monstrosity towering over the walls, it has one huge arm that looks to be used as a club and a deformed face with pale green skin, it swung back and smashed through the wall sending debris flying everywhere destroying multiple houses and through the gap a seemingly unending number of spiders and different creatures came rushing through. The giant came into the city and started swinging, your trying to dodge all the panicking citizens as they're stampeding while heading towards the giant and as he swings a giant piece of house crashes right in front of you killing dozens of people and at that moment you felt the feral sensation creep forward slightly but you were able to suppress it, using the rubble you made your way closer, you made your way to the ex-marketplace with spider's swarming the area, they're about half way to knee height with a round head and pincers with blade like legs, as they swarmed you, you were able to fend off a lot of them before a group of adventures came and began to help you,
"Go on ahead! We got this." one of them yelled, you gave him a nod and ran ahead.
As you made your way to the giant that was going berserk in the city you still had to avoid the spiders, it seems like they never end. Getting to an area that's mostly just rubble you run into... something... its a collection of illuminated yellow orbs with what look like spider legs, there are 3 or 4 of them roaming around and then when they noticed you they started firing the yellow orbs which you could easily dodge but they instantly hatched into spiders. As you began to be swarmed by them you start focusing on fighting and killing the smaller spiders and right as you got an opening you threw your dagger at one of the orb collections and it fell remarkably easy and gave you the opening you needed to get close to the others and kill them off and now there's nothing between you and the giant, you use the rubble to catapult yourself to the giant and stabbed your sword straight into his head, he paused for a brief moment before continuing his assault and using his smaller arm to attack you, you dislodge the sword and fall to the ground, you start to attack his legs, hoping to disable him but then he just dropped his club arm directly on top of you trying to crush you, you were barely able to hold it back before, someone smashed it away, some adventures came to help you, one was in heavy steel armor with a huge full body shield, the other was a female archer staying at a distance firing a barrage of arrows, and the last was a female rogue with two curved wicked knives and a hood covering her face. "Reinforcements have arrived!" the armored man yelled, the giant went to smash him but his shield was able to repel it, after what seemed like a few hundred arrows got shot at him one landed in each eye and the rogue came in and slashed his tendons causing him to fall.
"What are you doing!? C'mon we need you!" the armored man yelled, as the giant sat up and as you approached he used his smaller arm to start attacking you, eventually you got an opening and plunged your sword into his throat and and slashed as hard as you could upward, splitting his head in two.
