Hanc looked at all the houses and decided to go to the house that was hiding behind two larger homes. It was a bit hidden from some individuals' view but in happened to be perfectly in his view. He smiled and ran to the house, which was closer than it had appeared. It was a very nice house with most of the walls intact and almost a complete roof. It was a bit of a rare sight.
Hanc entered through the crumbling red door and he opened it to let himself inside. Hanc was one of the few people with hyperthymesia,or "super memory" as he called it. He made a mental note and continued inside.
The inside was dusty and naturally there would be debris as well as a mess. As he stepped inside he looked to his right and noticed a "living room" as they were once called. It looked so peaceful with all of the destroyed magazines and newspapers still on a nearby table. Hanc was afraid to disrupt the peace.
Hanc continued to move forward and he entered a small kitchen. His smile fell off his face. There were two males and two females who lay their dead heads on the table. The older male had black hair while the older woman had blond curly hair from the back. The younger girl had long black straight hair while the younger boy had pure white milky hair. The dishes were everywhere and they looked as if they were asleep. But, they weren't. The food around them was rotting though and the smell was so terrible. The peace disappeared and all Hanc felt was an eerie creepiness. He backed away a little bit as if the dead corpses could come alive again and try to hurt him.
In a moment of fear and uncertainty, he backed away and ran down the hallway. He noticed a staircase that was now to his right and he ran up it as if his life depended on it. He wanted to free himself from the impossible possibilities.
At the top of the staircase he found himself in front of three rooms. There was one in front of him and two on either side. To his right, there was the remains of a destroyed bathroom along with an open wall. He decided to stay as far as he could from that and he went into the first room to his right, not noticing anything really strange. Upon further examination, he saw an open drawer and his curiosity led him to further examine it.
He crouched down and gentle opened the weakened drawer. His eyes widened as he found stacks and stacks and stacks of papers inside. He had hit the jackpot. He has found something noteworthy.
He carefully took all of the papers out and he saw that the paper was in his language. His hands shuffled through each paper like a deck of cards. The handwriting was consistent with each letter so he knew that the writer was the same. Maybe the writer was a young girl or something. He looked around the room to see if he could find anything else and after his search he exited the room. He went to a room across the hallway and he saw piles of papers in disarray. He wanted to collect all of these papers and protect them. At the same time, he wanted to keep it for himself. So, he looked around the room and saw an empty bin or box of some-sort. It had a blue lid with a jagged edge in the middle of it. He didn't really care about how the box worked. He put all of the papers into the bin in no particular order. He could probably sort and organize this later. After he got all of the papers, he exited the room. He looked to his right and saw a pair of double-doors painted white. He slowly went closer to the door and saw some cute green crayon drawings on the door, which made him smile. He put the bin down and turned the handle but the doors were locked shut. He tried to force the door open but it wouldn't open. After a minute he gave up, picked up the bin, and went down the stairs. He turned to his right and exited the house.
