Chapter 65 - Volume Two (Prologue)

"Enforcers... Warriors said to be chosen by God himself... They exist for a single purpose... To slay the beasts that hunt mankind... The creatures with frozen souls... The Bestia Macht... They really are a pain, always messing up my plans..."

Age 0000

'Once upon a time there used to be a world... A pretty world with blue seas, a bright sky, and a yellow ball of flames that heated the planet giving it life. We called this pretty planet... Earth.'

Two men stood at the edge of what looked like a massive metal ship. Both of them were covered by a dark shadow keeping their appearance hidden.

"Well..." One of them said calmly. A golden aura seemed to shine around his body taking the shape of a giant transparent dragon. "Let's finish this..."

"Sure... About time I suppose..." The second man said. Blue electricity began to crackle off of his own body lighting the area up in a bathing blue light. "Let's settle this for good. Old Friend."

'This planet that the humans used to live on once was so beautiful... Far better than Ava the current place the humans reside...'

"It's time the Enforcers make their first, and their last stand!" The man with the lightning yelled as it began to roll off of his body.

"You really are a fool Storm!" The man with the Golden Dragon yelled as the beast pulled back its arms and began to glow. "I'll blast you apart!"

"I may be a fool but at least I'm not a traitor Orion!"

"Enough talk!"

"You're right." The lightning began to form changing into a large crow made of electricity. "It's time to end this..."

And in a massive clash the battle that determined how the story would play out began anew... Good versus Evil, Right versus Wrong, Enforcer, versus the Order... The dance that would go until the end of time.

The fight that created God...

The Start Of The Horror...

Age 1991

The City Of Chrysanthemums was considered by many to be one of the worst... It was dark, and cold, and filled with many Nobles, who assumed they were better than anyone because of their royal blood that flowed through their veins. This city was cold, and dark, even in a world where cold and dark were considered the normal.

And tonight...

Tonight the start of a horror show was beginning...

"~Where are you going pretty birde~"

"Oh God someone please help me!"

A woman ran down the alleyway at a fast and panicked pace. Her heart wouldn't stop in its panicked beating as she ran forward as fast as she could as something chased after her from behind quickly gaining on her.

"Please!" She cried out up to the dark and black sky that rested above her. "Please don't do this to me! Please someone help me!" She screamed.

It was in the middle of the night so all the artificial lights had been turned off leaving the already dark city pitch black... Nobody would be able to hear her panicked breathing. Nobody would be able to see the terror that was present on her face...

"~Little birde~," A dark voice said in a singing voice as the figure that was behind her got closer and closer. "~Little bird, little bird~," The figure laughed as it moved towards her.

The girl shivered as she turned the corner and froze when she saw the dead end up ahead. Her eyes went wide as she shook. "Oh no..."

"~Did you really think you could get away~"

"Please! I'm sorry! I swear I didn't know about the experiments!"

The woman turned around as a man walked around the corner. His long black hair fell down his face in a mess. His cold hungry-looking eyes stared at her. The small amount of light that was present shimmered off of the blade he held in his hands. He had wild black hair and excited looking red eyes. His outfit was messy and covered in filth holding a large knife in his hands which he twirled around as he slowly approached her.

"Please..." The woman said again but slower this time as she pressed her back up to the wall. "I'm telling you the truth! I didn't know about it! I promise! Please don't kill me..."

The man seemed to stop for a moment as a large sneer crossed onto his face. "You Nobles are so pathetic... All of you are the worst. And you treat us commoners like trash... All of you are pure and utter filth... That's why I'm going to take so much glee in this! I've seen the horror of what you guys do to us and I know you were aware of it you dirty liar! I've seen your face before! But you don't even remember me do you! You don't even recall seeing me as you slashed my back over and over again with a whip!"

The woman's scared look broke for a moment as she realized the man wasn't going to let her go. "Y... You utter trash!" She screamed loudly gaining a crazed look that could rival the mans. "All of you commoners are nothing more than trash! You should have been honored to have seen me at my best!"

"That's the spirit!" The man laughed slashing his knife out. "Showing off your true colors in the face of death! I'll send you before God! Let him judge you and your sins!"

The man gave another smile to her as she stepped forward. Then with a yell, he lunged forward at the woman, with his knife.

The girl let out a yell of her own and jumped back. Her hand shot out smacking the man over the head as he recoiled back apparently shocked that she would fight back.

There was a clanging sound as the man dropped his knife! The woman jumped forward grabbing for it.

"Why you little bit-" The man jumped forward but froze when the girl jumped up stabbing his own knife into his gut. Pain soared through him as his eyes went wide. "What? What just-"

"Die! Die! Die! Die you freak!" The girl let out a yell as she pressed down on the blade as hard as she could. "Burn in hell! You're a monster going around killing us glorious Nobles! We went out of our way to take your kind in! Who cares if we get carried away and a few of you die! You're just freaks! Die!"

The man fell back clutching at his stomach which was covered in holes and had blood flowing out of it as his eyes went wide. He fell back his head hitting the stone floor as blood began to flow out of his mouth and spill down his chin.

"Yes!" The girl cried out as she began to laugh. "Just die you freak!"

The man hit the floor as blood flowed from his wound. He gripped the handle of the knife pulling it out and that only made more blood spill out.

"W...What the hell did you do?" He questioned with wide eyes. His fingers dug at the wound in his gut. "I...It burns?" He cried out.

The woman let out a crazed laugh. "That's what you get-"

"It... It feels so good!"

"What?"

The girl stared horrified as the man dug his fingers into his wound. He plunged his hand into the bleeding cut as he began to pull on it. Her mouth widened in horror as the man let out a laugh. And he began to pull harder. The girl screamed out as the man continued to rip away at his skin.

More and more came off as he dug into it. His entire flesh, and muscle just slid right off his bone as his entire skeleton ripped its way out of his body. His laughter filled the air as the skeleton pulled its way out of the fleshy meat, that had been his flesh. Resting in the center of the skull was a small glowing white marble...

The bones cracked and twisted as the skeleton stood up and pulled its self out of the gore that it had been resting in. His skull twisted into a grin as his laughter kept coming out despite the fact he no longer had lips, or even vocal cords. It seemed to just bounce out of him.

The girls stared with her mouth wide open as she focused on the pair of eyes that rested in the sockets of the skeleton. The eyes rolled forward falling out of his sockets as it bent down.

"Now-" The skeleton asked somehow speaking without a tongue. Its voice came out raspy and more brutal then moments ago.

Blood, muscle, and flesh dripped off of it as it seemed to grab onto something, somehow still moving despite not having any muscles actually connected to it anymore.

"-where were we..." The skeleton muttered as it came back up still holding the long knife...

"N... No! Please! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

The night was filled with the bone-chilling laughter from the new monster, along with the screams, of a dying woman...

And far, far away laying down in a simple bed Hero Law let out a quiet sneeze as he jumped up and looked around the Squad Six common room.

"What is it?" A tired looking Kitsune asked as he let out a small yawn.

Hero looked around for a moment as a frown crossed onto his face. "It's nothing... I just had a bad dream is all... Sorry for waking you up..."

And once again the night was silent...

It was time for a new story to begin...
