"We'll just drop the topic because you're not going home." Anthony said matter of factly.
Judging by his tone, Jill knew better not to fight him on this. If she had insisted and he found out she lived over 45 minutes away, she would probably end up on the streets of Parkdale city at 2:30 in the morning.
Instead of saying anything she put her head back and sighed.

It's extremely hard to get Anthony to feel bad about anything. He literally just banged up his best friend in the back of his truck and kicked him out without batting an eye. So it surprised him at how guilty he felt for how Isa's night had turned out and knowing that he was responsible for a lot of what went down.
Isa literally dealt with the worst sides of everyone he knew tonight, including himself. From Delontè's corniness to Mark cussing her TF out, and him coming at her profession which he could tell she's very passionate about. Anthony knew If he was her he would want to go home too. Anthony thought to himself.
Jill's playlist continued to play in the background. The song "Don't" by Bryson Tiller came through the sound system.
Anthony sang along eyeing Jill when the lyrics were relevant to what was going on. He caught Jill's eye and besides her best efforts, she couldn't help but smile at him and roll her eyes. Anthony calls her name to get her attention.
"Isa." Jill looks over at him.
"Lately you say I've been killing the vibe, gotta be sick of this guy." Anthony sings pointing to himself. Jill laughs as Anthony puts his hand on her thigh and squeezes as Bryson depicts in his lyrics.
He continues to sing the lyrics to Jill, squeezing her thigh or knee. Sometimes holding and squeezing her hand as well.
"I'm sorry mamì..." Anthony said kissing on the back of her hand.

Maybe it was the fact that Jill haven't been romantic with anyone in over eight months and even in that relationship it was trash. But she only met this man hours ago and he gives her butterflies and makes her heartbeat accelerate when he looks at her and sings.
Jill haven't been made to feel this way since Danny. But she knows not to get caught up. Based on what she's experienced from Anthony, he's a pro at this and probably all the women he messes with feel this way. That's why it pissed her off when he apologized to her and her punk-ass started crying.

Anthony was shocked to see a tear fall from Isa's eye. She quickly wiped it away but another one quickly replaced it.
"Awe Isa don't cry." Anthony said hating how harsh he was to her tonight and Mark's dumb ass behavior.
"No I'm good." Jill said finally able to get her tears to dry up. "Just glad you could acknowledge tonight was some shit."
We pull into an underground garage. When Anthony parks the truck, he quickly hops out and makes his way to Jill's side of the truck. He opens the door for her and helps her out.
Anthony has to bend his 6"0 frame to kiss Jill tenderly.
"I'll make it up to you" Anthony says, walking Jill to a wide elevator.
