As soon as I saw the lady being cosy with dad, I turned around and dash home. I hardly had time to think, the scene was replaying in my mind.
I went up to my room. I never thought anything like that would happen to my parents. I wouldn't say I was devastated, that would be too dramatic,but was definitely shock! My eye balls almost fell out of its sockets!
I thought that after marriage there is just ' the family' thing. Extra marital affairs happen only in books and other extreme cases and lavish lifestyle categories, and not to normal ordinary people like us!!
Here I was trying so hard to be cool and charming and 'perfect' and then I see the most unexpected thing! But, if life puts it on my plate, I think I should just take it... Ahhhh! rolling on the floor doesn't help either!!
The following day, Esha brought a news which was like a thin string of joy, buy I was more than glad, after, all the rush of adrenaline.
"Guess, what?I got news that, a room is available near GB block, its cheap and the best is that its close to our college!"
"What? really?" I was very happy, I wanted to have my own place.
I am gonna get my own place!! yeah.. I jump up and tap my heels together 'tap'. I was over the moon, this will be the first time I will be on my own.
"But, the landlady is abit weird, eh anyways I know you will get along well, haha... " Esha gave a very suspicious giggle." Lets go together after class today. " I almost squeak out of excitement 'my very own place and that too very affordable within my budget!!!' I started to dream becoming an interior designer.
After hearing the news, I was so overwhelmed that I could hardly put myself to sit and attend class.." Will you stop smiling, Ashley! We are talking about the endemic diseases face by human race. " Mrs Jean, shouted at me. Everyone turned toward me, some smiled, some roll their eyes, some took the opportunity to have snack.

Finally, Esha and me, we made way towards my new place! oh boy! this is great." Don't be so excited, hopefully the land lady would agree to you being her tenant" Esha's wise words came tumbling in my ears. She reads me well. It definitely brought me back to earth from cloud nine. "yes, yes I hope too." I replied. "Does my dress looks ok? do I look out of line?" I asked Esha, "nay, you look presentable" She said.
I was about to say something more,but didn't because we reached.
"Here, it is! Your deciding hour. "after saying that she immediately press the bell.
After awhile, that will be five to ten minutes, the landlady finally opened the door. First, she peak through the side window, then, opened the door.
Oh, boy a very cautious lady huh, I thought to myself. I almost rolled my eyes after seeing her.
