"Really??, a sigh for me? such a disappointment am I??" Esha piped. "No, No.. long night.." I mumble. I thought about my dream when Sue reminded us saying "lets wrap up!" "we are going to soon" Esha replied. Sue was always trying to be a leader when the actual one was not around. We both rolled our eyes after she left and giggled.
The event we were setting up was in the evening so we had the time to enjoy all the various stalls till then.
Sue and Esha was busy debating which was better, dumplings or spaghetti,while I drifted off in my own thoughts. I was initially disappointed when I woke up from my dreams but now I was grateful it was a dream or else I would die of embarrassment. (Oh my God! it was really a daring dream, I said to myself.)
"Someone's blushing, hahaha... " Pete laughed! His taunting brought me back to the present." Seriously, you don't have anything better? " I replied. He never fails to annoy me any given day, like he is doing right now. His dark eyes and hair, girls find it appealing.
Sue and Esha stopped their silly debate and look at both of us. I gave the look that says 'Really?' they both laugh out loud. After the short break, we went for a photo session.
"Ashley, come, this monster head of the haunted house will look great! " Esha called out. They were practically dragging me along, I prefer to be alone in a corner and look at all the people around. You wont know how much I hated standing in front of the camera, I always prefer standing behind it.
Suddenly Michelle was eating a chocolate donut, when something cross my mind."Hey, lets take a picture here! "I called out to Pete , Sue and Esha." with the angle you want, iy terrible. You have a bad taste for photography! haha" Pete laugh out loud and so did Sue and Esha. "Come on, be nice, this is the first one, she volunteered herself" Added Sue with a giggle. They were enjoying pulling my legs. I did not bother about them, rather I was worried my subject of interest would leave. "Fast! Lets take a group!" I was angling the camera when Pete again said "Let me do it." I reluctantly agreed. we all stood together. Click! Click!
" Let me see,let me see.. " I said as I grab the camera from Pete. Esha was amazed that for this particular picture, Sue was not the first one to check. So, she gave me a curious look, while I was busy zooming the background to see if Michelle was present. To my disappointment, she was missing in the picture. "Ash, you look so disappointed, is there a person missing in the photo." Pete was anxious since he took the photo. "Nay, the photo is okay..." I replied as I hand back the camera.
I wanted to have a picture of Michelle with me, but i didn't want to let others even have a hint about her. I was trying so hard to act as normal as I can be.
A devilish smile appeared when I thought I can take the picture during the show.....
