It's been a month since then, the Ogre count here has Multiplied but the cave is still big enough to support all of them including me, there's also one more clone that I have been working on, He's name is Naoya, and with the genes of an Ogre, Dragon, and Corrupted, I'll try to release him when he has grown, while the month flew I also asked some of the ogres about their ability, they all have similar abilities if not having different skills in a different kind of weapon; Ageless Immortality is one of them, almost all Demon monsters have this kind of ability, they only need Mana to live while also needing the daily necessities of a normal living being, also it was unavoidable but some Ogres have died in some miscommunication between humans. "we were ordered to kill off all of the ogres here, let us pass!" Knights, their armor and weaponry are beyond what they had before I died, "I'm sorry but I can't let you pass, they are peaceful unless provoked and I have sworn to my friend to defend them as much as possible" "nonsense! I don't see the worth of a Corrupted defending a group of demon monsters, now stand back or prepare to die" they charge in but thanks for the warhorn they used with magic imbued strengthening device the Ogres were alarmed ahead, we managed to maintain and defend but a few ogres died, they seem to understand what I was trying to do so they kept their grudges towards the humans. "my lord, we are currently having a feast, please come with us." I have to deny that one, I have my own role here, "I'm sorry, you can have your fun but-" an alarm was heard. "Goblins and Orcs are headed this way! prepare to defend the area!" about 50 ogres prepare while women and children we're given bows and knives to defend themselves "listen here everybody! if one passes by you then continue fighting I'll head for the ones headed inside, if you're being overrun then retreat and regroup! no one will die if you follow! "everyone cries in agreement and starts the formation. the cave entrance can only fit about 20 ogres if you put them in a line so the position is what you'd expect, ambushes are set up by the children and the one to attack from the back are the women with bows, every ogre is given one role in order to defend their home. "Fire a volley to decrease their numbers!" some goblins are wearing armor but the fast ones only wear leather so they're vulnerable to piercing, the fight has already begun and the traps set up by the children were successful, pitfall with spikes and some swinging spike balls were triggered killing off a few orcs but the goblins were too small to be hit by the projectiles and were to light to trigger the pitfall, some fall in with the orcs but that's about it, I dash in the battle with my Demon form to help, I managed to kill off all of the remaining orcs so the Ogres aim for the remaining Goblins, some pass by but the Archers were capable of killing them off.
the fight ends in 2 deaths, they were Footsoldiers but they were brave enough to suffer, at least they'll respawn, although with no memories they will come back normal. "VICTORIOUS!!!" the cry of the Ogres can be heard in any part of the cave, they return to their feast and the Orcs and Goblins turn to Mana Mist along with the two dead Ogres... "you were loyal to your master, return with pride in your hearts" I mumble it in secret since it's embarrassing to say with all of them behind me...
after a while, Luna comes back with a few live boars in her back. "I come with Gifts this time!" I asked her to bring in some Cattle but insisted on boar since they taste much better. the Ogres try to take the Boars to their caring and begin building a fence and feed for them, of course, there's water but there's a new stream that's connected to the top of this mountain so it's possible with enough manpower to create a small pond here for healthy water to drink. it's been a few days after that and my creation is finally taking shape, it's filled with mana water so that it can absorb all of the mana it can, Luna got a mana crystal when he was flying, about the size of an eye but a small crystal is enough to produce an ocean of mana water so it won't deplete anytime, although mana crystals are incredibly rare since it's made from mana mist condensing in a place already filled in mana so this is the only mana crystal, Luna already found this even before she found me, also apparently this was found on my corpse so it has a slight connection with me.
a few more months go by and the cave began nourishing life on the mana that the ogres were excreting, some Life herbs, Moss glowing blue as Mana has also sprouted, also the Boars that Luna carried over began to turn into Demon monsters from being exposed to too much mana for a long time, it's now turned into a hue of blue but it's the same as it is. it's been a long time and the clone that I called Naoya has slowly taken shape, Muscular with a few liters of blood mixing in the mana water, blood type Corrupted being with Ageless immortality, Has Mana blessing so he's capable of creating magic, Mana is the essence of Magic so if he's born from mana water then his compatibility with Magic is great, and since he's half monster unlike Parva then he can (probably) respawn but I'm afraid that if he dies he will lose his memories like the two ogres that died in the fight between demon monsters, I already confirmed that they're memories do disappear so if a Demon monster die then they die but another is born. a few more weeks and I'll release Naoya in there, the Ogres await for their new member, all of them lived through the whole month whilst waiting for Naoya in the Clone Device, they saw Naoya and it resembled their build, but Naoya doesn't have horns like them, I took the genes that resemble too closely to an ogre and replaced those genes with dragon and corrupted blood, but since corrupted blood is as unpredictable it still randomly reacts with anything so his ability with corrupted is blood, the safest one from what I see, "Kirin sir! there are Humans outside the cave entrance." it's been a long time since I have seen Humans here "mm! please continue your business, I'll take care of this" I head to the entrance but was greeted with hostile intents "Demonoid! why are you housing Demon monsters on your premises?" Knights and soldiers are in the back prepared to die "they are a tribe with the ability to speak normally, currently this 'Demon monsters' that you speak of is just as hostile as you are hostile to them, I've seen Reptilians and Dryads with them multiple times even coming in with bearing gifts, you are the only race that opposes them so if you mind I'll be coming back and don't return, if you are still hostile then I'm afraid that this conversation is over" I turn my back and of course this time I'm prepared, My Hade's hand is already summoned in my back so a single attack will do nothing against me. "you fool! Do you think we will believe your bluff? then what if I say this, a Treant has actually called us to dispatch the Ogres you so clearly care about" I try to hide my anger but right now a fight is inevitable, "fine then if you want me to forcefully let you out then be my guest" the leader unsheathes his sword preparing to fight but "what is this? are you the master that those people were talking about?" a... naked man... "Kirin sir! your clone has escaped his glass capsule!" oh... "y-yes I am your master, Honestly, I didn't think you would be born at this kind of time but please head back I need to take care of things, and... ask for clothes from the people over there..." "Okay, master..." he heads back to the cave... that's some ass. anyway "sorry if that startled you weren't you preparing to fight?" they were taken aback "m-monster! you were taking care of a monster!" what? oh right, Naoya's capacity to store mana is beyond a human can so a normal Human can feel dread with that much... "retreat! we won't win with that monster (even if he had a fine ass!)" I feel like the fight was avoided in two ways but let's not look at it like that... I think the women in the Ogre's tribe will be shocked... well I guess every single person will be startled if they see a naked man walking with no regret...
