Jinjing helped Liang up to his room, while everyone laughed at his trickeries. Totally embarrassed, Jinjing could only go along with him, as she would at least be away from the watchful eyes of the rest.
Liang took time to climb the stairs. Once they reached the room, Jinjing helped him settle on the bed. She took the crutch and placed it close to the bed, so that he could reach it easily.
Liang watched her closely, how she diligently arranged everything for him. She even placed a glass and some water on the bedside table. He was very happy seeing how she was maneuvering in his room. He started imagining how it would be when she would share the room with him forever. He could not wait for that day.
Suddenly, he felt anxious, 'how am I supposed to survive till the marriage? I can't wait that long. I have to plan something.' He thought to himself. His scheming mind was put to rest when he realized Jinjing was waving her hand in front of him.
"hello…. Earth to Liang…. earth to Liang." She caught his attention and said " where are you lost ?"
He lovingly held onto her waving hand and flirtatiously said, "in your thoughts" and then unexpectedly pulled her close. Unprepared, Jinjing fell on top of him. Without wasting a second, Liang rolled over and captured her lips in a fiery kiss. Dominating every second of it, Liang kissed her like there was no tomorrow.
At the beginning of the kiss, Liang's body was weighing down on her. As the kiss advanced, his ministrations did too. Without breaking the kiss, Liang made some space between their bodies. Unrestraint, his hands crawled up inside Jinjing's shirt. And found their way to her full breasts.
Jinjing gasped from his touch. Even though they spent every night since their reunion together, Jinjing did not let him get away with his sneakiness. Kissing was the most she allowed.
His health was not the only reason for her restriction. The long gap in their relationship made it a little awkward for her to indulge in physical intimacy all of a sudden. She felt, the first time around, they skipped a lot of steps in building a strong bond. She did not want to repeat the same mistake this time.
Lost in her thoughts, Jinjing did not realize when Liang undid her shirt and bra. Only when she felt wetness on her chest, did she finally comprehend, that Liang was now sucking on one of her breasts, while fondling the other.
Jinjing, forcefully broke away from the kiss and pushed him off her. Panting she said, "no Liang, don't do this…"
A completely surprised Liang asked, "why sweets what's wrong? Why can't I love you?"
Buttoning up her bra followed up by her shirt, Jinjing kept shaking her head as if traumatized.
"no, no, we can't do this…. We can't mess things up this time around. We need to take it slow. First, we should strengthen our trust in one another, so that no one or nothing, except death, can tear us apart ever."
She looked pleadingly at Liang, waiting for his response.
Understanding her predicament, Liang tenderly cupped her face and said, "as you wish my love. I will not force you till you feel our bond is strong enough. I will eagerly wait for that day."
Feeling assured, Jinjing hugged Liang tightly. She wanted to give her all to make this work. She would not be able to bear a single day away from him anymore.
"Jinjing, I am letting you go home today…. I will try sleeping without you…. but the day we get engaged, I want you to move in with me." Liang said in all earnestness. Jinjing just stared at him blankly not knowing what to reply.
Looking at her lost expression, Liang understood what she was thinking. He quickly reassured her, "don't worry! I won't do anything against your wish. But I have grown used to falling asleep with you in my arms and this will also be a good way to make our relation stronger.
"okay!" agreeing to his suggestion, Jinjing warmly rested her head on his chest, close to his throbbing heart. She was content. 'he puts me before his desires…. I love him a lot.' She was thinking, just when Liang spoke up, "but I will kiss you… that you cannot stop me from…. okay?"
Slapping her forehead inwardly, she thought, 'guess I was too quick at concluding.'
